Hotel Review of Longuinhos Beach Resort
Comments: This was our worst hotel experience ever,weI had booked for a first class categroy hotel, this one had no stars at all... everything was dirty, neglected... the view of my room was garbage : smelling rotten fish...no nightreceptionist, bad hygiene, poor food: the three of us had bad stomachproblems, and I can go on : a nightmare !

While the whole Goa experience was good, the service of Longunihos was very poor.. Considering that I was paying more than Rs. 6000/- per day for the stay, the service, the customer care, the quality of inhouse restaurant was below par. The Ayurveda clinic was closed when I wanted to use it (citing Christmas vacation as a reason).. Pool was not having towels. Front desk people were very detached and unfriendly. Wonder how they are surviving.. Will not visit again....

Open the curtains of your room and what you see is a breathtaking view of the sea, the sand and the palms! The view will remain etched in your memory for a long time. But the service is far below expectation. It could be because we went in the month of February when we were the only Indian guests at the hotel. The hotel was busy satisfying their foreign guests and we had to keep following up for small issues...

it was a wonderful experience. The manager Gawas was wonderful so were the activities in the evening for eg retro music one night and 2 musicians playing wonderful local music just with a guitar...the shacks close to the hotel on the beach were great...

The service of the resort was the best, and being very close to the sea was an ideal location for those who want to enjoy the sea everytime. Fatal attraction- get out of your room and you are on the beach which is quiet and does not have much crowd- peaceful! And the sea waves attacking you. Though the resort tried very much to blend you with the beach by locating itself near a fishing village; hence everytime the smell...

Overall experience is not up to the expectation according to the rating provided for this resort. The main reason for this is because of foul smell of rotten fish around. As this resort is near to fishing huts, found the resort surroundings messy and unclean with foul smell....

Everything works - more or less! The room A/c makes an awful racket. The TV reception is primitive. The restaurant manager doesn't shave. He isn't growing a beard, but is just too lazy. No one offers to carry your luggage when you're checking out. The taxis just outside the front gate charge an arm and a leg to take you to Madgaon station.
