I have been to Mussoorie for many times, but this time I stayed at royal orchid fort resort, I must say excellent location, specially the staff is very cooperative and premium rooms of this hotel are very spacious and comfortable to relax and service is good and food is tasty, value for money, one of the best resorts in Mussoorie
The activity was conducted at the hotel. There was no problem in service. I didn't face any problem in check in and checkout. I had visited this hotel for personal trip. I would suggest this hotel to improve the room cleanliness. I would like to recommend this hotel for upcoming travellers.
The hotel was very good. I had visited this hotel with my family. The hotel was located in the city. The overall service of the hotel was good. The food was very nice in the hotel. There was no activity arranged by the hotel. The complimentary food was not provided by the hotel.
Very impolite and rude manager. I requested for opening indoor activity room, first they asked me to wait and when it wasn't done even after long wait, manager said no in a very rude manner. Completely messed my mood. I would recommend only for property but definitely not for staff service.
One of the best properties I have stayed in till date considering the hospitality and services we got here and the economical tariffs. Although a 4 star property but no less than a jaypeee or a Marriott. Amazing food, well decorated rooms, prompt and courteous staff I loved it all. Looking forward to the next visit.

The hotel is location at a great height and just before the busy Mall Road. You can see the resort name in big letter from a distance. It sounds exciting and yes, it is. Once you drive inside towards the reception you see all the small houses alongside the approach road. The lobby looks like a royal family's living room, well kept. It's beautiful once inside. However, the resort may seem to be small, but the place is actually quite big. Try for the rooms in the upper area of the resort. Unfortunately, we got a room right at the ground floor. So, we did not have a great view. However, when we went around the resort and we realized that, the upper rooms had an awesome view. I think perhaps the best view in Mussoorie. Needless to say, the upper rooms are pricier. Our room(the cheaper one) had all basic amenities like TV, bed sofa, a clean bathroom and a wardrobe and I think our room was the smallest. Other rooms are bigger in size. They serve complimentary chocolates. The bed is comfortable. The TV remote was not working but that's okay. All DTH channels are available. The bathroom, I think does not have an ventilation so, it seems it was wet all the time. The rooms are safe. The staff was very courteous and polite. They have in room dining, snacking options and a good menu. The resort has a restaurant and a lounge that serves cocktails and spirits. I never tried the lounge but, the restaurant's location is awesome. It has amazing Indian curries but, alacarte is the best. I think the resort offers complimentary breakfast, which is also good. Dinner could be improved. I think they re-use some ingredients but, I think they should not make it obvious by serving the some sausages and sandwiches for breakfast and high tea (Yes, you get complimentary tea and snacks between 3 and 5 at the restaurant). For fitness enthusiasts, there is a gym, spa and sports center (pool table, table tennis, badminton and carom). Yes, new racquets should be procured. The spa has Jacuzzi, hamam bath and all essential stuff. Overall, its a good place for a 3 night visit and yes I think they are among the best in Mussoorie. If the above things are taken care of, you are in for an unforgettable experience.
The hotel is good. The food is excellent. The service is very quick. The location is very excellent. The rooms are very good. The washrooms are also very good. The hotel parking and the security system is also very good. The services are very good and the food is also amazing.
It was a weekend getaway to Mussoorie starting on Friday and ending on Sunday. We directly booked with the Hotel and was given accommodation at Premium Room without Terrace. From the moment we stepped into the Hotel, we could feel the warmth of the hospitality offered there. Room (no. 805) was big with all modern amenities. The view from the windows was great covering the view of Valley as well as the Town. Location of the Hotel is also good. It is not very far from the Mall Road (around 500-600 meters), however, taking a walk to the Mall road may be very tiring. The room service let us down a bit. Although the service was quick however the Fruit Basket promised under the package resulted in Two Apples and Evening Chocolate resulted in Two Dairy Milk Chocolate worth Rs.5 each. This was no where near to the kind of rates being charged. Further, once the staff forgot to put requisite no. of hand towels also. The restaurant (Pinxx) is good, nicely maintained and offers good variety of food. However the food taste was very much bland. Overall it was a good stay and enjoyed the time
It was a completely unplanned trip of Mussoorie for us. And after we got here we randomly chose this hotel. The location of the hotel is quite good. It's on a comfortable distance from mall road. The hotel looked good. The rooms were good too and so was the wash room. I was amazed by the hospitality, it was great. The staff was really helpful. The view of valley from my room was great. The food was delicious. It was good being here. We guys had a very good time at Royal Orchid. And undoubtedly I would recommend it to all. Just go for it guys!
Its very good, There is kids playing Section like Arcade games and more.... so, my kids are enjoying so much... There is Gym and Spa, when we take the services, we really feel so relaxing and my wife also enjoy and happy, so that I really very happy to avail hotel facilities
