Coonoor food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Sightseeing is a very relative thing here - if you love holidays that allow you to take long walks explore tiny shops and appreciate the quaint culture that is a legacy of most Indian hill stations, you'll love Coonoor. Shopping is restricted to ayurvedic products and forest products, wooden furniture, jams and jellies from the Pomological Station, fruit, woollen clothing and tea. This is NOT the place for people who want to carry away souvenirs to place in prominent places in their living room.

Comments: A beautiful area where there are lots of walks
Best Experience: Personal attention from the owners
Worst Experience: Rooms were a little musty and could do with a good clean. Hosts were a bit too personal in criticism of past guests

Hotel Review of Tryst, The
The setting is nice but the whole place does not give you the impression of being very clean. Also food is average and largely dependent on the mood of the hostess. Very small Bed & breakfast type of place but quite steeply priced for the quality of accomodation....
