This trip was very nice. Overall, my experience in this hotel was very good. Food was good. Everything was very good. Coffee plantation was there. The climate was also very good. The management was taken from them was really very good. Hospitality was very good. Whatever we asked them It was quick for us and they used to give it on time. At midnight at 11 o' clock when I was hungry they served me hot and fresh food because I was pregnant at that time. They were given very good service. I liked resort, cleaning, service or everything very much. Room was very good. We had gone to the recent new room even the price was very reasonable. Pickup and drop facility was not given by them. We went there by our own vehicle. It was very easy to reach. It was just 10 km away from Madikeri city. It was little inside. It was not on the main road. Surroundings were really good. It was very peaceful. We went there for a holiday and there was no network and we had very good time there. Swimming pool was there and it was very clean. View was visible from the room. Bed sheet, pillow, washroom or everything was good and clean. Location of the hotel was very good. Appearance of the hotel was good. Booking was done directly. They gave a good discount for us. Booking and front office service was excellent. Service of the staff was also excellent. The room in which we stayed was excellent and others were very good. The cottages were really good there. Food was excellent there. Both veg and non-veg food was available but they had separate kitchens for both the food so we faced no problem in having the food there because we are purely vegetarian. They did not have much activity. They had swimming pool, table tennis, and all. Activity part was good. Coorg as a tourist place is good but only if you go in a proper monsoon time not in the hot climate. I visited there with couples and family both in April. It was both relax and too much fun kind of holiday.
I have visited a resort in Coorg in the months of January 2017. I visited Coorg with my family. It was relaxation trip to this destination. Coorg was very good city & cool in nature I like the Madikeri. Hotel is the location as good & convenient. The ambience was very nice & well hospitalized. The reception was very much helpful & accommodative. I booked my stay through online. Rooms were very old in condition & maintenance was a good. Service was good in serving us & they were very honest. Food variety was there & no much expensive. Complimentary food was good. WiFi facility was not available & no travel desk facility was there & there was bonfire facility in the hotel. It was the very comfortable hotel to stay & was good in accommodation.
Our trip was during the New Year eve. Not many choices were available. Out of the limited choice, we planned to search for a resort, ambience surrounded by nature. Also, we were supposed to reach Coorg from Mysore and vice Versa. So, we wanted to keep the distance optimum. Thus we struck at this property right amongst coffee plants. Just 2 hours drive from Mysore, we reached here. However, as per the cab driver's suggestion, we covered three sightseeing attractions on the way, saving time the next day . . We checked-in late after going to Golden Temple, Cauvery Nisargadhama forest, and the Dubare Elephant Camp on the way. The resort ambience was encouraging as we drove through a narrow path laid between coffee plants. We had booked a family cottage for our family of four. The room interior was disappointing, like poor design of bathroom and toilet, improper plug points, only one proper double bed (the other two were small singles). The room was also pretty small. Though these things made us feel whether it was not worth the money, we felt compromised with the free parking, good food, pleasing staff, green surrounding with just the sounds of nature, Welland swimming pool, the indoor games, the outdoor seating for dinner with music and bonfire, not to say the party dinner, dance, music and crackers on the December, 31st night. Can't forget the beautiful walk through the coffee estate guided by a staff who showed the coffee, pepper, orange and other specials of Coorg. Can't forget this trip for long. Management, please improve the room interiors.
Situated in Suntikoppa, this hotel is in the same area as Harangi Dam. Regional attractions also include Gaddige - Raja's Tomb and Madikeri Fort. In addition to a restaurant, Coorg County Resorts features an indoor pool. Other amenities include 24-hour room service and a 24-hour front desk. A complimentary breakfast is offered. We had booked this resort in Coorg for a weekend getaway from our hectic schedules during Deepavali holidays. This resort is situated in Suntikoppa amongst lush green surroundings. It is ideally located and near to all tourist attractions. There are a very few number of cottages ranging from dormitories to palace villas. We stayed in a standard villa which had a sit out. It was spacious and consisted of furniture and television. The A/C worked well. The toilet was very clean. The cottage on the whole looked ancient and primitive. This place also has a big swimming pool which looked clean. The outside environment had pavements coated with moss which gave a natural feel of living in a forest. There were big spiders and cobwebs which stick to your face as you walk along the pathways. The place is un kept and best suited for people who are adventurous and willing to share their space with bugs and insects. The room service was excellent and the food was delicious. The tariff rate was reasonable and our stay here was just fine.
The hotel was located in a convenient location and easy to find the hotel. It was just 200 metres from the highway. Staff service in the hotel was good and helpful. The appearance of the hotel was good. The rooms are spacious and well maintained with amenities like AC, TV and a geyser in working condition. Mobile charger had issue in the rooms. The rooms had forest and greenery view. I had veg food and taste of food was good; pricing was a bit high. Improve cultural activities in the hotel and no games etc ., in the hotel. Sightseeing trip was not provided. Coorg is a tourist destination is excellent. It was value for the money paid and recommendable to other travellers. There was no delay while check-in and check-out. My hometown is Piratical and mother tongue is Kannada. I stayed in the hotel on a relaxation trip with my friends during the month of October 2014.
