Food : Veg Lunch at Aamantrana, Near Madikeri Bus Stop. 6/10
Breakfast : South Indian Hotel, near bus stop. 7/10.
Also check out Krishna hotel..before 9am..8/10.
Lot of small shops to buy Elaichi and dry fruits..not much difference in rates..but

Hotel Review of Bethel Home Stay
Comments: We had a very pleasant stay at Bethel (sirimanagala, coorg) for the 2010 new year party. Excellent views/location together with great hosting made our trip memorable. The staff at bethel are very flexible to provide the things you want and I would suggest Bethel to all.

let me tell you how this home stay is better than others,First its in the small valley estate and surrouneded by high ranges.the best possible time to see amost 10 falls around you from the high ranges during rainy season.Trek in the forest,jumpy bumpy geep ride to the white waters and great experience in wild rapid rafting.swimming and Temple visits, dont find for a season rather plan with a reason.It is never a guided trip because Rakesh is there....

Check-in: 31st Oct'09 morning at 8:30am Check-out: 1st Nov'09 12:00 noon It was an excellent experience of home away from home in the midst of nature. The location is ultimate!!! and we can see nature at its best. One thing for sure, you cannot expect better food and varieties than what we could get here, even in some excellent restaurants in the cities. And mind it, the estate is the border of Brahmagiri wild life sanctuary and getting good food here...

Bethel estate a place to relax read a book.. be with nature .. trek .. raft or just watch birds and butterflies fly by. Stay amidst thick vegetation that is rare to find.
