Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
Comments: good.
Best Experience: surroundings of the resort, the host tom and saritha and their kids neal and diya. Food was tasty esp. coorgy chicken, veg pulao and gravy. taxi they arranged was very comfortable and the driver saru was very cordial. Dina and rakesh the servants were very courteous.
Worst Experience: the room was very samll. There could have been some shelves to pu things and the definetly the bed could have been bigger and the quality a little better. But they charge a resonable rent for the service they provide.

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
Our stay in Pompei valley was good. This home stay is amidst a big estate full of greenery and is a good place to unwind from the stress of city life. From the gate till the house of the hosts, there is a narrow and rocky way for about 50 meters, along which only a small car can pass through..this is amazing...there are lots of plants and trees around....There are 4-5 mid sized small houses behind the host's house. These...

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
I had been to coorg on a 2 days trip along with my wife and friends in the month December'08. As we had expected earlier, we didn't find weather cold enough. I would say it was apt for a nice outing. Our trip was in turmoil because of the vehicle, which punchered twice in a single day and the driver who didn't have spare wheel and delayed our trip. But it also had positive side. We spent more time in the...

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
The location of this place is great due to it's proximity to Madikeri city. The resort itself is also quite, calm and appealing but can get eerie at night. The 8 acres is well maintained by Tom and his Coorgi wife Sarita. Since we wanted to see Madikeri the day we arrived, Tom who was already going to Madikeri dropped us. After some sightseeing, he picked us up as well. The food is good esp. the pork. Though the food charging...

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
We reached there around 8p.m and had quite a hard time finding the place, though the host was on mobile guiding us, courtesy no sign boards. When we reached the place we were a little taken aback as the place looked very eeire at nite and we could not see any cottages nearby. But if you are someone wanting privacy and a forest like ambience in an estate THIS IS THE PLACE. They have totally 5 cottages and it is...

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
Coorg was a tough decision to make since everywhere was going to be hot! Abby falls was a major deciding factor and so we went over the Good Friday weekend. While the drive itself is very scenic most of the way, the ride is quite bumpy. The good thing about going in that general direction is that there's other interesting places to visit. These being the Kushalnagar monastries, the Dubare elephant camp (it's a must see!), Nisargdhama etc. Abby falls...

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
We went together as a couple during the rainy season. Although, the place had frequent rains we really enjoyed our stay. We anticipated it and brought rain gear, plus you get a few hours of day of clear skies...well at least not raining ones. The cabin we had, had two bedrooms, though we only used one. It came equipped with a nice clean bathroom, full size bed, with full window to watch nature from the comforts of the bed, a...

Hotel Review of Pompei Valley
It has been a good home stay for us. The room sizes are right sized for small families. The hospitality is good. There is no activity that we can indulge in Pompei valley. Some kind of indoor activities or a games room will help. The food is pretty average and pricey for the quality that is provided. Other than the food, it has been a pretty nice experience. Thanks to Tom and his team for making this new year memorable....
