Coorg is an excellent destination for spending over 5 days of holidays as it is nearer to several locations ranging from nature(greenery), water falls, religious activities(temples, bilakuppe for tibet monks) forests, safari in bandipur and etc. Coorg Int'l is one of the best hotel nice and neat, affordable for many.

Best Experience: Food over here is excellent as compare to other hotels around there.

The hotel is a bit far from the central place.Both break fast and dinner are complementary. Swiming pool and game room both adds extra funs for the tourist.Overall experince is good.

Best Experience: Swiming in the lighted swiming pool in the evening

The points in favour of hotel are that food was good and staff was courteous while the negative points are that rooms are too expensive compared to the facilities they provide.One can better spend a thousand or two more and rather stay in resorts like Club Mahindra ,which guarantee a basic standard as far as amenities and ambience is concerned.

Best Experience: the dinner they served us was really tasty especially the nonveg. Also, they had this nice apparels exhibition going on which was nice leisure activity that one could engage in ,in free time.

Worst Experience: Yes, one thing i would like to mention here that we had asked for a room for couple , and after doing all formalities they placed us in a room with separate beds and even after we told them ,we wanted a double bed, they said in standard category they have such rooms only, for a double bed room, we can opt for higher tariff room.(Standard was not a cheap one , it costed us about 4.5k for a night.

I was in the hotel in Dec 08.. its a good place to stay..nice food..good staff...

The stay in Hotel Coorg International was not as good as expected and certainly not worth the price paid. Coorg as such has nothing to offer except a peaceful environment. Hotel service was sloppy. Restaurant was not able to offer anythng except buffet breakfast, dinner and lunch. Bar did not exist. View from hotel room was extra-ordinary.
