My stay was in relation with my tour of Haryana. When I reached there it was raining, weather was very cold but very nice. A warm welcome was given to me by reception staff and I was provided a nice comfortable room, it was very cold so the heater was also provided. I was told there were sixty other students and it was not comfortable to go to dining hall therefore food was provided to me in my room. It was very helpful to me because that saved me from student rush in the dining hall. Staff was good very comfortable stay at Dalhousie.

A spectacular location of the hotel and a good sight of Dalhousie scenic beauty. Amazing service, nice indoor games to engage oneself in leisure. A perfect honeymoon destination and a good choice for couples on honeymoon.

Good food quality and service for dining. A warm welcome even when we reached at 4 in the morning. Close proximity from the market around 5 minutes walking distance.

Rooms were neat and tidy and had a beautiful view from balcony.

The hotel was very good. The location and view from hotel was magnificent. Rooms are well cleaned and having good facilities. But the room have some problem of aeration. Activities and indoor games are also available. Food served was good, tasty and served in hygienic condition. The bed were not much comfortable and bed sheets have foul smell. In Dalhousie there were not much restaurants, so choose hotel which have dining facility.

Location is good and panoramic view. Services are quite good. I found a dead rat in my room, all other things are okay. Reception and dining areas are with lack of natural light and ventilation, it should create first good impression as soon as you enter the hotel it should not be dull.

We found hotel service is satisfactory during our stay, we observed one kitchen/dining near our room and very bad smelling the same. Our room is in basement and we have to take our lunch, breakfast and dinner to ground floor of other building. Approach of hotel is very narrow and we had trouble to find the hotel. There is no proper landmark in address. Rooms and canteen is good but veg and non-veg food were both in single dinning room so we got some trouble.

I visited this hotel as a tour manager with a booking of 21 rooms. The overall experience was perfect. Rooms were quite good and services offered by hotel staff were nice. Though there was freezing cold, the stay went very well with heating systems.

Manager at Hotel Mr. Sharma was quite helpful and he really provides each and everything demanded by my guests. We had a gala dinner and DJ party with tasty starters at night it was a well arranged event. Even with a short notice they managed it very well.

Overall, condition of rooms is perfect except the locking system which is not automatic and you need to try a lot to lock it properly. Due to wooden interior fittings in dining hall there was a cosy smell while having dinner.

Dalhousie heights is where we stayed for 2 days. It is an absolutely average place to stay. The amenities were highly inadequate. Food was good, but cleanliness was far below average.

There were too many flies in the Dining Hall, so much so that one of them fell in the soup that we had ordered, and the waiter refused to take it away saying that the fly had fallen into it after they had served it. Not bothered about the fact that the flies were their protester.

Line, towels and in general the toilet was also not clean by normal standards. We had to ask for soaps and shampoos even after the house keeping was done. No whatsapp network, and would charge for a small period. We had to go to the reception and ask for a password (different every time) in case we desired to use it.

All in all I would not recommend it to anyone.

Except for smiling Reception staff who were apologetic nothing much works here. Rest of the staff even though were polite.
Dining staff inattentive.
We were provided room in so called new wing whee typical case of in most hotels catering to my fellow Indian tourists. They build infrastructure but no attention to detail.
Geyser leaked with boiling water dripping the whole place, Toilet seat broken. If toilet was repaired then Toilet paper was missing. If Toilet paper was provided then soap was missing. When soap was given forgot 2 sets of hand towels !!! If Toilet was sorted then WiFi was poor. We were not interested but FYI TV did not have some channels for international travelers.
As an owner of a travel business and guesthouse I understand the duifficulties and have see all categories of hotels around India and the world. Please take this criticism positively. I called the junior staff and explained to them and tipped them for encouragement
