The staff always welcomes with a sweet smile and also they are very good at work and much sincere for customers. The rooms were very much cleaned and hygienic. The overall experience was very good. The hotel was conveniently located. It was a club. It was hardly minutes distance. We get a cab easily. I stay there for holiday purpose. The staff behaviour was very good. The appearances of the hotel were very good. It was a very old type of room. It was a heritage type of hotels accordingly rooms are there. They have good restaurants. There is no need of AC. All amenities were provided. The food was very good. It has a continental and Indian food. Non-veg was good. Pasta was also very good. All type of activity was provided like pool like British type, outdoors and indoors games. They provide sightseeing cars of their own. The surrounding of hotel is very peaceful. There was no activity. We had pleasant view from our room. The hotel was highly reasonable and I do recommend others to stay with.

The location of the hotel was good, it was easily accessible, The appearance of the hotel was good. All the interior and exterior was neatly maintained. The rooms were spacious and cleanly maintained. The TV and geyser was in working conditions, the specialty of this hotel is it was well known to everyone because of the location. No difficulty in check-in or check-out, There was no activity at the hotel as it was on renovation of certain. Overall experience was ok. The suggestion would be provision of snacks should be provided .

The maintenance of the hotel is very bad, though the location is excellent. There are rooms, which are big but were badly maintained. The hotel stuff was nice and friendly. The famous keventers hotel was bang opposite of our hotel. The mall road was very near. The food was good there.

Hotel planters club is near to main market area & location is quiet good. One can see kanchenjunga view very clearly from the hotel balcony. The room is well decorated & feels like heritage type hotel. Room service is good & hotel staff is very friendly.

The hotel was located centrally near the bazaar and I feel this was the best hotel in Darjeeling. I visited this hotel with family in the year 2011. The appearance of the hotel was good and the staff at the hotel very friendly and professional in service. The room allotted to me was very spacious with all the required amenities but not in good working condition and there was a market view. The food provided was very delicious with lots of varieties in vegetarian as it was a service system. The hotel organised table tennis as an activity and sight-seeing trip was arranged by us. The hotel was worth for the money and I recommend this hotel to other travellers. My suggestion is to improve with the amenities.

By all accounts, planters club was one of the best places to stay in Darjeeling, but sadly no more. The rooms are huge with separate sitting area, dressing area and bedroom. However, the furnishings are old and need immediate renovations. The toiler was dirty and very clumsy.

The hotel offers no room service but they do have a nice restaurant called Opium. However, the service is really pathetic. It took the restaurant 45-50mins to bring food for 4 adults.

The hotel\'s location is its biggest plus point, located right under the mall. It is walking distance to the mall as well as the legendary eatries like Keventers and Glenarys.

Best Experience: We were lodged in VIP rooms and they were quite comfortable.

Worst Experience: The toiler was dirty and very clumsy and problem with this utility is service which is horrible. They have a good restaurant called Opium but staffs are not well trained. difficult to converse in English.

The stay at Planter\'s Club was indeed a good experience with best possible location overlooking the snow-clad mountain ranges, opposite to Keventer\'s, a few minutes walk from taxi stand, mall and the main market area. Food at Opium was equally good and so was the service by the hilly people. Room No. 4 was big and spacious. Would love to always stay here, whenever in Darjeeling.
