The location of the hotel was good, it was easily accessible, The appearance of the hotel was good. All the interior and exterior was neatly maintained. The rooms were spacious and cleanly maintained. The TV and geyser was in working conditions, the specialty of this hotel is it was well known to everyone because of the location. No difficulty in check-in or check-out, There was no activity at the hotel as it was on renovation of certain. Overall experience was ok. The suggestion would be provision of snacks should be provided .

By all accounts, planters club was one of the best places to stay in Darjeeling, but sadly no more. The rooms are huge with separate sitting area, dressing area and bedroom. However, the furnishings are old and need immediate renovations. The toiler was dirty and very clumsy.

The hotel offers no room service but they do have a nice restaurant called Opium. However, the service is really pathetic. It took the restaurant 45-50mins to bring food for 4 adults.

The hotel\'s location is its biggest plus point, located right under the mall. It is walking distance to the mall as well as the legendary eatries like Keventers and Glenarys.

Best Experience: We were lodged in VIP rooms and they were quite comfortable.

Worst Experience: The toiler was dirty and very clumsy and problem with this utility is service which is horrible. They have a good restaurant called Opium but staffs are not well trained. difficult to converse in English.

The stay at Planter\'s Club was indeed a good experience with best possible location overlooking the snow-clad mountain ranges, opposite to Keventer\'s, a few minutes walk from taxi stand, mall and the main market area. Food at Opium was equally good and so was the service by the hilly people. Room No. 4 was big and spacious. Would love to always stay here, whenever in Darjeeling.

The old architecture of this hotel is impressive. The building is very well maintained and the services are excellent. Whatever meal we had here was delicious. I can recommend this place. You can easily stay in Darjeeling for 3-4 days.
