Mysore food, sight-seeing and shopping options
I reached Mysore by 10 AM in hotel ADhi manor because i have started by 7 AM from my house and we took two break in the middle of travel . I went there by my own car , so its too comfort ..
Once i reached hotel . i tried to arrange cab from hotel itself , they said 1200 for indica cab ..BUt luckly i got a call from patak travels and they arrranged another cab for 900 Rs , but we can bargain some more and make it for 700 or 800 ..

Hotel Review of DasPrakash Hotel
Comments: A good budget hotel for a family. Also advantage of location as its centrally located to main bazar and all the wholesale shops.
Best Experience: Best about them is the avaialbility of hotel early morning at 6.00AM. So if you have to start early for touring in Mysore you dont have to worry about skipping breakfast as you get a whole lot of southindian eatables early enough in the morning.
Worst Experience: Hot water unavailable during the evenings and night.
Limited choice of food while staying.

The hotel is centrally located and is a budget category hotel. Due to its best central location there is an easy availability of all vehicles for local and other travels, even the sight seeing places like MySore Zoo , Palace, etc. were close by.We had booked the hotel room in advance and as we were to spend most of our day sight seeing we preffered a non a/c double room. Me and my wife approsched Dasprakash to get the feel of the real Mysore and the history associated with it. We were not disappointed at all..... the hotel has a 'dated' look... one does not feel like it will even be clean from inside.... but we were plesantly surprised when we got in.... its a 50 yr old building, the structure, architecture, corridors, doors, varrandas have the charm of old times.... the tiles are mosaic, corridor has red oxide flooring,...
