Dastoor Meherjirana Library is one of the first libraries in the state, which has some of the most important collections of manuscripts belonging to the Zoroastrian religion. The oldest manuscript in the library was donated by the Meherjirana family and dates back to 1323.
Majority of the manuscripts were donated by Dastoor Erachi Sorabji Meherjirana (1826-1900). He copied over 75 manuscripts in the library and donated it. The recent donations of the manuscripts have come from different Navsari families, along with a wide manuscript collection of Dastur Firoze M. Kotwal.
