"Very Good"

5.6/7
Posted 21 Jul, 2016

The hotel was located 10 kilometres far from the bus stand as well railway station. The hotel building was new renovated. The garden and lawn was not available at the hotel. The behaviour of receptionist was good. The check in and checkout service was done on time. I had visited this hotel for official trip. The overall service was good. All facility was provided in the room. The activity was not conducted by the hotel.

"Feel of Heritage Haveli right next to Lake Pichola"

5.9/7
Posted 11 Jan, 2016

Bang next to Lake Pichola, this new hotel definitely added 5 stars to our trip to Udaipur. Initially, I was a little skeptical given the travel through small winding streets but as we entered the hotel and more importantly, were ushered into our rooms, all our doubts vanished. The location of this hotel is a huge plus and given the price per room, it is a definite steal. All the main sightseeing places - City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli and even the jetty for the boat ride on Lake Pichola are within minutes of walking distance from the hotel. The streets are quite narrow, enough to just allow a vehicle pass by one way but the same are filled with shopping and food delights. We found almost everything near the hotel - be it the German Bakery or the shopping places. There is a small parking area for your vehicle to come in and wait till you unload all the luggage. After that, the vehicle will need to move out as parking overnight is not allowed. The staff was amazing and very helpful. They helped us in every possible way - right from giving us directions to the hotel to helping us unload and settling into the room. The next day, the manager helped us out with a map and suggestions on how to go about visiting the various attractions in the city, where to eat, what to buy and the amount of time we need to keep aside for each of the attractions. The rooms were very clean and beautifully done. The beds were huge, so much that even our 9 year old could fit in though we had opted for a separate bed for her. The decor of the room was done in a traditional haveli style, giving you the typical Rajasthani feel. The bathrooms, though basic, were very clean and quite big. The hotel has a small pool on the ground floor, though we did not use the same. It is just enough for a tired traveller to relax, and is not meant for Swimming as an exercise. The roof top restaurant was a lovely surprise. The spectacular view of the Lake Pichola with lovely sit outs was a definite plus when it came to staying in this hotel. The restaurant offers Indian, Continental and Italian food, and we tried different options here. Each dish was cooked well and was quite tasty. However, we did feel that the same was a little overpriced. Breakfast is not complimentary here and we opted to step out and have it elsewhere. Free Wi-Fi is available for the guests. The hotel has two cute dogs who roam around the restaurant. The kids really had a good time petting them and playing with them. On the whole, the hotel was a lovely and affordable experience - and I would definitely recommend the same to my fellow travellers.

"Only terrace view is good"

5.3/7
Posted 7 Jan, 2016

I visited Udaipur on my second marriage anniversary and stayed at this hotel. Amenities are below par and average. The staff was not skilled and room abeyance is also average, May be, I was not in the best lake facing room. There was a good thing that is the city place was at a walking distance and there was good temple nearby. We too visited a fort nearby where classical dance and other things were being played and therefore that was a good experience.

Location of hotel is excellent with view of lake pichola and lake palace hotel from rooms. Its is just on bank of lal ghat offering excellent view and walking distance to city palace. Open air restaurant offers good experience for evening tea, dinner and morning breakfast. Rooms and toilets are big and have all basic facilities. Excellent value for money.

"Good hotel to stay with great view "

6.6/7
Posted 28 Jul, 2015

The hotel has a great view from its terrace and it gets the best in the evening. One can find people staying at other hotels coming for a lake-view moonlit dinner in the evening. The seating is very comfortable and one can choose among a few varieties, the food is great too. The hotel is centrally located and is at walking distance to the city palace. The rooms are comfortable, although not great but at the price they offer. The front office is very helpful.

We loved this hotel. Best service experience. Rooms are great too, especially the large bathrooms. Hotel was fresh and clean at all times. There is a nice bar area with outdoor seating which makes for a perfect ending to a day filled with walking. They definitely set the standard for service. Unbelievably friendly and helpful at all times. A must visit I loved this hotel.

"Overall perfection"

6.7/7

Located in the affection of Udaipur with a amazing appearance over the basin and mountains. The baiter ride over the basin is just alfresco the auberge door. The apartment are adequate and homely, the appearance from the rooftop restaurant is outstanding. Not to mentioned one of the best chef's in India. Suitable for abandoned travellers, anniversary goers, families all will accept a abundant break in this hotel. The rooftop terrace is the absolute atom to sit with a drink, eat some amazing aliment from the restaurant and bolt that absurd night time breeze. I awful acclaim it and cannot delay myself to acknowledgment in the future. We acquainted so accustomed in that airy atmosphere. You can adore basin arena and a ice algid beer on their rooftop restaurant for sunset. And yeah. Very nice apartment as well. Real cosy and clean.
