The hotel location was nearby city and the destination was also good. The amenities in the room of the hotel were good. The food and drink in the hotel restaurant was good. The appearance was good of the hotel. The services of the staff were very good and responsible. No activities were seen in the hotel. There was no delay while checking procedures.
The stay at the hotel was part of a small family trip. This hotel have spacious rooms along with good view of Kanchenjunga. Meals served were really good and staff were good behaved. Only issued was timely supply of water which is understandable as the hotel is at the hilltop as the name suggests. TV connection etc have to be checked before as it may not be there as in our case. Overall it's a good place with reasonable costing.
I think its one of the best hotel in Kalimpong. Rather its little far away from main town but when you reach there, I am sure you forgot the distance. The rooms are excellent and you can get the homely environment there. We went there with a six month child and two year child but got totally homely welcome there.
We started for Gangtok after 2 days in Darjeeling, in between we decided to stop at Kalimpong that day. 2 of our family members had fever. Driver took us to this hotel. Appearance was quite okay. Kalimpong is exact in between Darjeeling and Gangtok, 50 km from both. Staff were very cooperative and helpful, arranged medicines quickly. Food was simple and delicious with the perfect view of natural surroundings Rooms were nice, specially the terrace. The hotel is on the real hill top with a superb view of the Kalimpong town, down the hill and open places in front of it with perfect relaxation place watching the mountains covered with clouds. Else from the main Kalimpong market the hotel about 3 km. We stayed here for less than 24 hrs but it was completely memorable to watch the Kanchenjunga and the hills covered with mountains from the rooms.
I was really desired to go to Kalimpong for once and it this was the time I was able to go there. So, we decided to camp here in Sana Hill Top. Thanks to all the online sites, but we have much clue about the hotel as there were very few reviews and snaps. But Sana had got a noble hotel in Mondarmoni, so we think much and booked it via bank transfer Hotel:-. The hotel was really REMARKABLE and a hill-top inn. All other hotels were at the marketplace of Kalimpong which was really horrifying, congested and boisterous! I really loved the edifice of the hotel. You can watch the Kanchenjunga from the shared balcony itself, which was simply astonishing. The shared balconies were great and had decent seating arrangement . The breathtaking 180° view of the Kanchenjunga and the whole Kalimpong and other mountains would make you fall in love with the hotel. You can't think of getting any better. You can sit over there and spend time after time without getting tired. The night backdrop was purely spectacular as well. I got to know that the hotel also offers WiFi, but my smartphone stopped working so I ask though. Even there was a place where you can sit and enjoy the hills at the top floor. Rooms:-. We took one tripled room and another doubled room. It was surprising that the tripled room's price was lesser than the double one. The rooms were quite noble. They provide you with a TV and the bathroom was pretty good with 24 hours of running hot water and it was totally sterile. The best part of the tripled room was that you can get a vision of the Kanchenjunga from your bed itself. [Room 106]. Indisputably the tripled room was a better option even if you need a doubleheader one. Even the rate was less Food:-. The food was the only mediocre part of this entire hotel. Actually we went during the Kali Puja, Diwali and their main cooks were not there. There was one provisional servant cum cook and the food he made was satisfactory. Even people over there used a diverse kind of rice which tasted different, and was not that good. The Chinese was worthy I. E. The Chow mein and the chilli chicken. The Paneer dishes were commendable. The last day we asked for fish and asked to make Bengali cuisine. That was the best of the lot. They allowed us to cook Khichdi in their kitchen as their cook was absent Service and Management:-. Behavior can really affect your mind a lot! " This particular chapter took my heart away. The facility and the manager, Miss. Anamika especially was super nice. She and her sister ran the hotel and they never said to our glitches. They always said "Okay, I'm trying" and they actually resolved all the hitches. They also provide a show for us. Like all the lodgers contributed together and all people from the locality came, and performed and made the night distinctive SPECIAL ONE! I was in need of a gravely as my smartphone stopped working. I requested the manager and she said that "Okay, I'm trying" and she actually did. She took me to her home and permitted me to do my work. It was really sweet of her and I really adored it a lot So it was unquestionably the finest choice we could have made. I would absolutely ask you to go there, enjoy the view and you'll definitely like it. Best sited hotel other than Hill Top and Morgan House !.
This hotel is very good manners and co operation the hotel atmosphere better and better than market place, and the hotel food very good and hotel room is comfort. We enjoyed very much there we all happy, we surely visit there again. Everything was great. We all never forget your hospitality.
Located just at an altitude of 1, 450 meters, it has a moderate climate but better than that of the market place offering year round comfort. Amongst the Himalayas of North Bengal, a boutique hotel located at the best place in the heritage town of Kalimpong with beautifully furnished spacious rooms, fire places, restaurant, conference hall and the huge balconies with a view of snow peaks including Kanchenjunga and Nathula range. Just to feel on the top of the world. Kalimpong can well be compared with a cool and calm beautiful princess. Excellent hospitality with neat and clean rooms and very good ambience. The manager was very cooperative and food when ever served was hot. That was really good. Maintenance of the hotel was also good. The scenic beauty from the hotel was excellent. One can see both the Teesta river and the Kanchenjunga.
It was not conveniently located. Faced some problem to reach the hotel. Staff members were helpful but only 2 staff were available. Rooms were spacious, neat, clean and maintained. Pillow, bed sheet, blankets were clean. Hotel was located very far from the bus stand. Activities like swimming pool, gym, indoor, outdoor games were not available in the hotel. Overall, experience was not so good. Services were not provided properly.
