So this place is in existence for like almost 20 years now. I have been going here since I was a kid. This is located away from the city near algal . . The place is set up like a Rajasthani village to give you that proper authentic village feeling. The food served is traditional Rajasthani food and it is really lip smacking. The rooms are a bit small and sometimes not so clean. There are numerous activities that one can do here like swimming, camel riding etc. Weddings also are conducted here.
Dhola-ri-dhani is a resort in Comply 23 km from Hyderabad it is beautiful place to get relax and spend weekends but it service is not up to the mark it is a themed resort of Rajasthani it also has rooms to stay but is not worth to its tariff.
Dhola ri Dhani is quite famous in Hyderabad, it attracts a lot of locals and tourist for its unique Rajasthan village experience. Entrance area is an inspired from the Rajasthan fort and the reception area has traditional outlook. As you across the lobby area you see a big open temple of 5 different Indian gods. As you proceed you have ghumer jhumer which is an open amphitheatre they organize lovely dances. After that you have many other attractions like puppet show, magic show, horse and camel rides, boating, and various other games. Towards the end you will see a huge swimming pool which is a good copy of the great Bath from Indus valley civilization. Near the swimming pool is a huge building where they have all the rooms to stay. I stayed here for 3 nights as I was attending wedding. Service and quality of rooms is decent like any other 2 or 3 star service. They have very few but standalone cottages spread across the property. On the other side of the pool is there convention hall and huge open area where most of the wedding functions are organized. Over all it is a decent place to stay. Only thing one must remember there is no non vegetarian food available and no drinks are allowed.
I went there in evening around 5pm with some friends as family outing. We had a nice welcome drink (Jail jeera). Then we played some games with children. We played in swimming pool. Then we did camel riding. Then we saw awesome Rajasthani folk dance, magic show and puppet show. Then we danced in mini DJ. Then we had very tasty Rajasthani food, the service was very good. We did have rest on charpai in open air. We enjoyed mini sholay. Overall the experience was awesome.
This is the place where you can get best Rajasthani food in Hyderabad. There is almost everything thing which can make your children happy like toy train, camel ride, horse ride, swimming, voting bungy jumping etc. There are many things for adults as well which children also will enjoy, puppet show, magic show, dance show, mini disc. Overall its a nice package to make your evening wonderful. What I like most was food. There are khats (beads) in open area, you can sleep after having heavy food. Only drawback it has is location at outskirt, so little far from Hi-Tech city area. Overall its must go place in group!
If you like a traditional place then this is one of the resorts you can try, good traditional look with good set up not too far from city and good reception reasonable price and food is good if you are a vegetarian and like to take northwest spices of India. Totally Rajasthani food, lot for kids to enjoy.
First of all it's totally in the outskirts of Hyderabad. We went there hoping to have a good weekend. But after travelling such a long distance I was disappointed with the average service quality of the staff and the maintenance of hotel was also not impressive. The food was sort of Marwari. We didn't like it.
