The hotel is located very close to the city and the staff were professional and friendly in behaviour. The appearance of the hotel was quite attractive. The room was spacious and maintained clean with all the required facilities and were functioning properly. The food was delicious with all the varieties. I did not face any difficulties during check-in and check-out process. My suggestion is to increase with the refreshing activities.
The main attraction of this beach property are the hammocks which are extremely relaxing. The service is average and so is the food. The rooms are decent. It is however, worth the price as it is a low budget property. There is a lot to walk around and the property has been well decorated with different plantations.
The hotel was located nearby the city. The hotel location was very good. The parking facility was available at the hotel. The check in and checkout was done on time. The behaviour of the staff’s was good in the hotel. The allotted room was spacious with clean. TV was available in the room. The service was good in the hotel. The food quality was good and tasty. The food was value for money. The variety of food was available in the hotel. The Wi-Fi facility was available in the hotel. I would not suggest anything to this hotel. I had visited this hotel with my family.
Being there for a weekend with Office folks. Very nice property. Well spread out and well maintained. You can relax in the garden or on the hammocks or on the benches near the beach. People are well behaved and service was satisfying. The food was really good. Already recommended this place to others and they also have a good experience.
rooms are clean and nice. location is very good, ideal for relaxation. food is very pricey. options are limited. do not take non A/C rooms , due to low voltage fans will not run properly. A/C runs well with generator. I recommend this hotel as one of budget option in Mandarmani.

My trip to Mandamani, a memorable experience. I received a call in the middle of the day from my cousin and my aunt, who live abroad currently. They wanted to explore their beloved West Bengal before they packed their bags and said goodbye to India. I, being a pretty good online researcher, started looking for places and came across the pristine beaches of Mandarmani. Without any further delay I started looking for hotels. This is when I came across holidayiq.com. I used other sites too, but this site gave me better access to crucial information to the hotels i shortlisted (thanks to the simple 'Get info by mobile/email'). All the members of this trip were ladies; four of us, to be precise. So the prime focus of my search was a safe and decent place above everything. I looked at the pictures provided by other helpful reviewers and fell in love with Digante. The place seemed decent and fit our budget too. Upon calling the hotel, the staff was very helpful and also kept their following up on my queries quite professionally. I booked a room at an extremely economical rate over the phone. Part of the payment had to be pre-made and to our convenience, an executive from the hotel came to our doorsteps and gave us a receipt. The hotel also provides pick up and drop from Digha upon request. Our journey commenced on 10 July 2013. After reaching Dighqa, we informed the hotel and they swiftly sent us a car within 10 mins. It was spacious, well-maintained AC car. The driver was very polite and decent. This eased our paranoid minds quite a bit. We drove on the slim red roads and then our eyes met the beautiful vast ocean. We drove parallel to the sea for a few meters before we reached the beautiful entrance of Digante. This journey took us around 45mins- 1hr. We went into the reception area which is a thatched roof hut adorned with beautiful flowers, wines and dragon flies. The natural beauty of the place is a breath of fresh air for any city person! The hotel staff was very polite. Each guest gets a personal attendant, our attendant was a wonderful young lad; very prompt and helpful. We were led to an AC room with two queen-sized beds, a TV, cupboard and a dressing table. Very clean. Even the bathroom was properly maintained. Bed sheets, towels, pillow covers were spotless. My only complain was that they did not have running hot water, i.e. no geyser. Another con is that we reached the hotel right after lunch time and were famished. But the hotel does not provide snacks well before 7pm to 8 pm. Now coming to the food. It was absolutely DELICIOUS! The cook is well -versed with cooking spicy as well as non-spicy food. So the food is prepared the way you want it! This is an absolutely delightful specialty of Digante. The food is unmatched and wonderful. The entire small plantation of trees and the hammocks hanging by the trunks at the entrance add a dreamy touch to this place. The white swans moving around while fluttering their wings , the roaring sea at your footsteps and the sparkling clean beach; what more can one ask? I give it full marks for being respectful and friendly towards women travelers, especially. We bid adieu to Digante on 12 July 2013. We lived a dream for a couple of days and I will always cherish the memories I made there. I will definitely go back there.
I would definitely recommend Hotel Digante. The rooms are very good, surroundings are well maintained, the staffs are very friendly. You can have very tasty Indian food. But do not try for Chinese.
A truly virgin sea beach greets you the moment you set your sights on Mandarmani... Add to that the sheer excitement of driving your car right on the beach (though that spoils the ecosystem) and excellent customer service from the resort... That's sheer bliss of a weekend trip to Mandarmani...If you are looking for too many vacation activities by the sea then the place might dissapoint you a bit.... But if you are tired of city crowds, traffic jams, loud music and horns and just need to laze around and rejuvinate, then this is the place for you... Take a trip to the nearby Mohana (where the river meets the sea) to watch hundreds of red crabs scurrying away as you approach them in the custom made 'Phat Phati'...Otherwise just relax in from the resort on the beach and all your needs (food and drinks) will be served right beside you while you are lounging in your chair...
Its a very pleasant experience for us.people are very nice and service is very good.Location is also fine.
I went to Digante for my Honeymoon. We never forget such nice place with super duper excellent service. It's like 1st time you have visited you In-Laws place & Everyone is so concern about your comfort. I've recommended 6 of my friends to this place for their honeymoon & out of 5 went there. All of them have awesome experience & they thanked me for such reference. One incident I'll never forget: I eat quite heavy in the breakfast & got acidity, So was not willing to have Lunch. The food was included in the packages, so no other hotel rarely bothers about it as they will make profit out of it. But the Digante people was so concern they immediately gave me anti acidity medicines, arranged a resting place. Every five minutes they showed their concerns. I eat a good lunch that day too & they have give me digestive pills after lunch too. Such a nice people. I'll again & again want to go there.
