Digante in brief was excellent. We were touched by the warm welcome of the support staffs from the day we checked in till the day we left. The resort, the rooms, the staffs, the food, the surroundings were absolutely brilliant. There no negative point as such. The behavior of the staffs was to be superb and our trip was worthwhile..

Simply Best in all respect like hospitality, food, activites, rooms....

Best Experience: We were there from 18 - 20 th march at the time of holi, enjoyed a lot with the activities designed by the team Digante, food was good , they are excel at their hospitality, the resort is too good to stay ....

A truly virgin sea beach greets you the moment you set your sights on Mandarmani... Add to that the sheer excitement of driving your car right on the beach (though that spoils the ecosystem) and excellent customer service from the resort... That's sheer bliss of a weekend trip to Mandarmani...If you are looking for too many vacation activities by the sea then the place might dissapoint you a bit.... But if you are tired of city crowds, traffic jams, loud music and horns and just need to laze around and rejuvinate, then this is the place for you... Take a trip to the nearby Mohana (where the river meets the sea) to watch hundreds of red crabs scurrying away as you approach them in the custom made 'Phat Phati'...Otherwise just relax in from the resort on the beach and all your needs (food and drinks) will be served right beside you while you are lounging in your chair...

Best Experience: Actually the best experience i had at Mandarmani started as a bad experience... Imagine driving from kolkata constantly for 5 hours, hungrily eyeing the fresh sea food served on your plate and then (and I do not blame Digante at all for this) discovering a tiny cockroach in the food... I was tired, furious and frustrated all at the same time... BUT... Then the great service started... For starters our entire food was taken away ( even rice and all other accompaniments for 4 people) and served fresh within 10 minutes... 1 hour post lunch we are lounging by the sea and the co owner of the resort walks up to us and starts to apologize and this goes on for 20 straight minutes.... He says he will personally supervise and serve us all our other meals and asks us to order whatever we want to eat... So we (considering the anger we had) order chinese for dinner in a sea side resort in West Bengal!!! And OMG he serves us dinner with noodles, chilli chicken and veg dumplings !!! And trust me i am not an authentic chinese bland food fan, but the noodles were the best we had ever eaten in our lives and ditto for chilli chicken... To keep it short the royal treatment we got after that was in terms of the resort charging us absolutely NOTHING for food for the entire 2 days of stay!!!! I still can't believe it... We just paid for our rooms and our entire fooding including drinks, mineral water, cool drinks was just FREE!!!!! And what a service!!! The co owner came up to our car when we were departing with sweets and again apologized... To sum it up, whenever i return to Mandarmani Digante is the place im going to stay at, period... Love the resort and the folks... Oh by the way did i mention that just for us they organized a private Medinipore Fireworks show in the evening!!!! Now i can say 'Thanks a roach...There are still free lunches in the world' !!!
