Diwan-i-Khas, better known as Audience Hall, was constructed by Rana Shiv Sharan Singh in 1830. In the past, it was visited by numerous Arki rulers. The hall is embellished with wall friezes that display Rajasthani Kullu, Kangra, European and Arki styles of paintings. This hall contains archways and intricately painted ceilings.
The subject of the murals differs to a great extent from modern European cities to Indian mythology. Guler style is depicted by murals that have been adorned with war scenes, animals and birds. Murals have also been adorned with flowery drawings and the figurines of females that display an influence of Guler style.
In the murals are also depicted Raginis, erotic scenes of love, war scenes and some fantasies. The frescos of the hall have been adorned with Chinese pictures and stories from Puranas including battlefields. Paintings on the wall are inspired by the views of the hills and valleys along with the wars fought and won in the Baghal domain.
