This place is not a resort but just an average hotel. The hotel is located a good 25-30 km away from the main market of Munnar. Stay here if you want to just relax and stay inside your room. If you want to go sightseeing then you'll waste two hours in travelling from and to the hotel. We even had to come back early by 5 in the evening as the road to the hotel is in a very bad state and it's dangerous to drive there in dark The rooms were clean and well maintained though very average in size. The bathroom is very small and not commendable. The hotel has it's own plantations and we enjoyed it's tour. There are no other amenities in the hotel. The tree top cottage seemed different and attractive compared to the deluxe rooms The food provided in the restaurant was terrible and left us with a horrible experience. The staff were untrained and provided us very poor service. Though the food was ordered 1 hour prior from the room we were still made to wait another hour in the restaurant for the food. As there's nothing nearby we had to sleep empty stomach both the nights A good place only if you want peace and relax just in your room. Overall, a below average experience.
One of the best area in Kerala (India) for entertainment only filled family travelling. We truly appreciated the fantastic neighbourliness and quality administration by the committed staff. Tree houses, winged creature watching, butterfly watching, Tea ranches, Spice manors, Camp-fire, Multitasking Restaurant with a full perspective of wonderful Munnar Hills. All were past our creative impulses. Say thanks to God we persuaded an opportunity to be there and recommend to every one of the individuals who need to unwind and discharge the anxiety of day by day occupied life We stayed in tree house for 2 days and moved to inn room third day. We appreciated staying in Tree House. It was magnificent experience. Great neighbourliness cleanliness, near to nature, amicable staff. We delighted in moving around Tea Plantations. Night around tea manor was minimal startling, however it was extraordinary experience Nourishment was somewhat costly however great. We had open air fire on one day. All TV stations were accessible, kids appreciated tons, serials and motion pictures. Inn was marginally far away from primary Munnar, yet did not have issue as we had our auto. WiFi was moderate, not usable, but rather it very little of concern as we were on home.
Booking of the hotel was very easy. The location of the hotel was very beautiful. The hotel had tree house, room and cottages. We could choose any one of the options. The hotel was far from the city. It was very convenient to reach there. The food was very good. Local delicacies were also very good. The ambience of the hotel had nothing special. But the tree house gave a very different experience. The room had all the basic amenities. Service of the staff was amazing. Check-in and checkout was also easy. The staff were very helpful. It was a very good place to stay. The hotel was moderately expensive.
Usually I prefer hotels resorts which are away from main city to enjoy the natural beauty. This hotel is apt for people like me. The hotel is not only beautiful but also full of natural surroundings and also has tea garden which makes it beautiful. Not only surrounded by tea garden but also has spices, orange farm and Cardamom plants. The attractive feature of this resort is its Tree houses which are beautifully designed and worth to spend a premium at least door a night. A perfect place for romantic couples The only minus point is its reachability. Its not only far (approx 20kms) but roads are also poor. Probably those were dug up by forest dept to reconstruct it. But once you reach here its an awesome place. Staff was very courteous and service is excellent. Rooms of tree house as well as normal rooms are clean and has a beautiful view from the balcony. We enjoyed thoroughly here both in Munnar and the resort. The food served here is good and taste of especially south Indian dishes is awesome.
The hotel is faraway from the Munnar Town. The Plantation of the Tea was very nice with lot of greenery around. The hospitality of the Resort was very good and the amenities of the hotel was very good and maintained The Tea plantation was widely spread but it was really hard to find resort while coming from Munnar. Overall, experience of the Hotel was " DREAM CATCHER".
