The Dubare Reserve Forest is a popular attraction amongst nature lovers and trekkers. The moist deciduous forests are home to several species of flora, fauna and avi-fauna. Some of the commonly seen animals include sambar and spotted deer. These can be seen grazing around or drinking water by the river side. Birds like partridge, kingfisher, woodpecker and even peacock can be spotted here.
However, the major attraction of the reserve forest is the Asiatic elephants. There is an elephant camp as well which also has accommodation options for overnight visitors. Wildlife safaris, elephant rides, coracle rides, fishing and river rafting are some of the things that can be done at the camp.
