Ranked 4 of 4 sightseeing in Nathdwara

The Dwarkadheesh Temple, situated in Kankroli village, is among the most important temples of the Vaishnavas and the Vallabhacharya sect. The temple is similar in architecture to Shreeji ki Haveli and has a red stone idol of Dwarkadheesh Shri Krishna. This idol is believed to have been brought here from Mathura.

The temple is situated near the Navchauki Dam, also known as the Kankroli Dam, which is an ideal birdwatching spot.

    Temple always crowded

We spared a full day for visiting Dwarakadhish Temple and Charbhuja Temple at a considerable distance from Shrinathji. This is temple of Lord Krishna. The temple is also known as kankaroli temple. The temple is about 17 KM from Nathdwara. However the temple is in a small street so you have to walk on feet. The temple is always crowded and one has to wait till open the door of temple which opens and close regularly in all Krishna temple.Recommended to visit. #
