This place is worth it if the main criteria of your visit is to get away from the Crowds (Mumbai) and look for peace. The hotel is still coming up and hence there will always be room for improvement, but for the price I guess you can say in peak season it was worth it. The room was decent but needs to be kept clean and I guess the shortage of staff made that difficult. The mattress was comfortable and bathroom amenities were decent. It had a TV but limited channels, but since we were mostly outside it didn't make a big difference. The pool is small but it was okay as it was my kid and myself who were mostly in it The distance from the market to the place is quiet a lot but you get a pick and drop free from the hotel. The food is really good in the hotel and very reasonably priced, probably I could say it was some of the best food we had and mind you I ate at all the Top 5 places to eat Non Veg in Mahableshwar. The evenings were very pleasant as you are surrounded by Nature on all sides and the sights and sounds is what makes this place worth it. Adventure seeker's this is the place worth staying including family. The staff were very polite and though they don't serve room service they did do it for us Last but not the least I have to speak about the person who picked us up and dropped us to the bus stand his name was Ganpat. He made all the difference to our stay in Mahableshwar, since I had saved money on the stay, I thought of hiring a cab service for site seeing and going to different places to eat. He is extremely knowledgeable about the place as he is a Local, but also very friendly, but above all extremely Punctual. I would recommend him to everyone who Visits Mahableshwar
First and foremost, the location of this resort is a good 10 km from the main town. Even to reach to this place would be difficult. Thanks to the GPS we had on our Mobile, we reached here without much difficulty. The rooms are just about average, nothing great. We were allocated a deluxe AC room a holiday package) but we had to change it as there were some civil work being carried out on top of our room and the constant banging was a bit too much to take. Also the glass windows bracket fixing was flawed due to which it was continuously chattering (in the wind). I agree that it is the monsoon time we went but then when you expect visitors at all the seasons, these kind of things has to be looked after. The room to where we shifted was also having many problems - like TV not working, leakages in bathrooms, etc. The condition of bathroom was pathetic. Although it had a tub, the condition was so horrible, we did not use it As it is far away, there aren't any eateries other than the one at the hotel. They have a very large menu but most of the items were unavailable. Even the morning coffee was available only after 8 am. The quality of the food was just about average. The complementary breakfast had only one item- Poha Upma. There was only one boy to cater to everything For people coming just to relax without any sightseeing program, it is an okay place. The children can enjoy in the pool.
Visited on 29th December 2014 for one night only. New Resort located about 13-14 km from Mahabaleshwar town in an isolated area. Finishing of room not yet complete as hangers were not available in room. No sofa. Swimming pool and small play area for children is good. Food and staff was good. Not recommended for people going for very short visit and sightseeing. Stay if you want to relax.
We were in Mahabaleshwar for a weekend stay, during which we stayed in Dwarkadhish residency and we loved this hotel. Nice location, excellent exterior as well as interior. Food is delicious. Staff is ever ready to attend guests, polite and friendly, and the room we stayed was spacious enough to occupy family of four. Highly recommended budget hotel.
My visit to Mahabaleshwar in the month of December 2016 and stayed in the Dwarkadhish Residency. It was my holiday trip with family. My travel destination was average. My hotel location was good as number of options for shopping is more. I would rate the appearance of the hotel as average. I would rate the front desk staff as good because of their responsive on time. I booked my room direct at hotel. The services which were provided in the hotel were very good because of quick response and politeness. The rooms at the hotel were good because of facilities and decoration. The food which was served in the hotel was good, we can have a large menu of items.
