This hotel is in one of the best location in Chikmagalur. Very near to Bhadra wildlife sanctuary, so one can get up early in morning and drive till sanctuary. I took basic cottage for which they change me 5K in peak season including food and breakfast. Food was really tasty. One can enjoy other activity arranged by resort such as morning walk, games etc.

The hotel location is really very good. The appearance is also decent. Especially food is really awesome. However the management is pathetic and they are not flexible. All the activities are time bound which is not something that a person looks out when out of his city.

I had booked 2 waterfall villas. Thinking about villa I thought it would be spacious and with all facilities. But to my surprise the room was very small and with a very tiny bathroom in it. Just opposite to the room there is some construction going on and you will not get the peace ( the only reason I went to Chikmangalur).

When I went in to the room, waterfall was switched off, so I asked them to switch it on and they asked me to put the towel near the waterfall. The moment they started the waterfall, it was so noisy and within couple of minutes my entire room was full of water. So I had to ask them to switch off the waterfall.

Food was average where we had the option between veg and non-veg. They had provided us with a common barbecue in the night. In regards to the activities, they had a playing room which had board games and a swimming pool.

Not a place for elderly people or who have knee problems as the rooms are at hill and not an easy walk. Overall not a nice place to go. No proper boards are there to guide us to reach the place. Even the GPS does not work in that area.

The overall experience in the hotel was amazing. Many activities such as camp fire, trekking and bird watching were conducted by the hotel. The hotel was surrounded by hills, forests and coffee estates. The services by the staff were good and helpful as they attended to all our needs irrespective of the time. The appearance was modern looking hotel and many decorations at the hotel. There were villa types of room without the provision of a TV. The Mountain View was visible from my room. The food quality was good. The overall resort was worth the money.

Good place to stay with Family. Food is good and the kids will enjoy as they have space for outdoor activities. A bit difficult to locate but their Villa speciality rooms seems a different concept. Food has a variety and tastes fine. Overall good place

Pleasant service experience started from the moment I ranged up Eagle's Eye front desk for enquiry. Attendants (Pavithra and Evlin) were quick to help with all the information and were flexible to accommodate all our requests for specific food and accommodation. The resort is beautifully placed on a hill top with the scenic views 360 degrees around. It's a part of a massive coffee plantation which also has a wide variety of fruit bearing trees, spices and other flora. If you are a nature lover or want to explore some nice tracks or just want to relax in the friendly, cosy environment -this is a perfect place to go for.

Roads leading to Chikmagalur are very good, whether you take Bangalore-Hassan-Chikmagalur or Bangalore/Pune-Tumkur-BH Road. Though the last patch of 3-4 km after you cross a jungle check post is bit kachcha road type, but understandable as it may be a private road and is very short distance to complain about.

You have a wide variety of room choices, starting from Tree Houses, Cottages, Villas, Family Rooms to even Water Falls Villa, Sky Walk Villa and a Glass house! All rooms are spacious, with large Bathrooms and nice views. Food choices may not be very great but the ever smiling and enthusiastic restaurant manager (sorry forgot name) makes your dining experience enjoyable. Take walk with the estate manager Mr. Winston across the plantation and you will be amazed by his knowledge of flora and fauna (plants, animals, insects etc). Mr. Monis, owner of the place, fondly showed me his plans of developing more amenities like swimming pool, bigger spa and some more. If it is not raining, then they put up a nice camp fire every evening. Though me and my family did not like the idea of playing loud bollywood music amidst the serene, peaceful setting during the camp fire, I saw many others were enjoying it with dancing. They have small pond within the estate for Coracle ride. Overall, the place is very decent, enjoyable and affordable too. Best part of the place is humble, ever smiling and helpful staff to make your stay happy and comfortable.

Suggestions for selecting rooms- if you want to experience adventurous, tree top, & wild but comfortable stay- go for a tree house at least for one night. It is equipped with mosquito nets, large bathroom & a sit-out with a big hammock and a cupboard to keep you valuables. Most villas are twin types (two units together) but units are thoughtfully partitioned for maintaining privacy. Large french windows, sit outs with beautiful views and tiled roof tops make those villas most preferred ones. I couldn't see cottages and other room types but Mr. Monis told me that Glass house is the most beautiful place to stay there. It has large glass walls, giving you a breath taking view of valley right from your bed. Sky villas are on top of the dining room and also offer good view of the valley and mountains.

The hotel was very much inside located but that is good because it was near coffee plantation. I found difficulty to reach because they did not know to explain the way. The look of the hotel was good and staffs were nice. There is no delay find but the service is very slow. The room with the swimming pool is good but otherwise the rooms are not good. No view found but all the amenities were in working condition. I did not have food in this hotel but it has restaurant. There are activities but average and I suggest hotel to increase their service. I stayed for two days and it value for the money.

The overall experience in the hotel was good. I didn't face any delay in check-in and check-out. The hotel is far from the city, but the location was good. The appearance of the hotel was good. The service was very good. I just took one room. The room was clean. I didn't take food in the hotel. The hotel provides the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was good. There was no extra activity. There was an indoor game in the hotel and the hotel arranged a new year party. I visited with my family. The hotel does not provide any welcome drink. The hotel provides the pick-up and drop facility, but I was having my own car. I didn't get any view from my room. I stayed for three days.
