Good place to stay with Family. Food is good and the kids will enjoy as they have space for outdoor activities. A bit difficult to locate but their Villa speciality rooms seems a different concept. Food has a variety and tastes fine. Overall good place

Pleasant service experience started from the moment I ranged up Eagle's Eye front desk for enquiry. Attendants (Pavithra and Evlin) were quick to help with all the information and were flexible to accommodate all our requests for specific food and accommodation. The resort is beautifully placed on a hill top with the scenic views 360 degrees around. It's a part of a massive coffee plantation which also has a wide variety of fruit bearing trees, spices and other flora. If you are a nature lover or want to explore some nice tracks or just want to relax in the friendly, cosy environment -this is a perfect place to go for.

Roads leading to Chikmagalur are very good, whether you take Bangalore-Hassan-Chikmagalur or Bangalore/Pune-Tumkur-BH Road. Though the last patch of 3-4 km after you cross a jungle check post is bit kachcha road type, but understandable as it may be a private road and is very short distance to complain about.

You have a wide variety of room choices, starting from Tree Houses, Cottages, Villas, Family Rooms to even Water Falls Villa, Sky Walk Villa and a Glass house! All rooms are spacious, with large Bathrooms and nice views. Food choices may not be very great but the ever smiling and enthusiastic restaurant manager (sorry forgot name) makes your dining experience enjoyable. Take walk with the estate manager Mr. Winston across the plantation and you will be amazed by his knowledge of flora and fauna (plants, animals, insects etc). Mr. Monis, owner of the place, fondly showed me his plans of developing more amenities like swimming pool, bigger spa and some more. If it is not raining, then they put up a nice camp fire every evening. Though me and my family did not like the idea of playing loud bollywood music amidst the serene, peaceful setting during the camp fire, I saw many others were enjoying it with dancing. They have small pond within the estate for Coracle ride. Overall, the place is very decent, enjoyable and affordable too. Best part of the place is humble, ever smiling and helpful staff to make your stay happy and comfortable.

Suggestions for selecting rooms- if you want to experience adventurous, tree top, & wild but comfortable stay- go for a tree house at least for one night. It is equipped with mosquito nets, large bathroom & a sit-out with a big hammock and a cupboard to keep you valuables. Most villas are twin types (two units together) but units are thoughtfully partitioned for maintaining privacy. Large french windows, sit outs with beautiful views and tiled roof tops make those villas most preferred ones. I couldn't see cottages and other room types but Mr. Monis told me that Glass house is the most beautiful place to stay there. It has large glass walls, giving you a breath taking view of valley right from your bed. Sky villas are on top of the dining room and also offer good view of the valley and mountains.

The hotel was very much inside located but that is good because it was near coffee plantation. I found difficulty to reach because they did not know to explain the way. The look of the hotel was good and staffs were nice. There is no delay find but the service is very slow. The room with the swimming pool is good but otherwise the rooms are not good. No view found but all the amenities were in working condition. I did not have food in this hotel but it has restaurant. There are activities but average and I suggest hotel to increase their service. I stayed for two days and it value for the money.

The overall experience in the hotel was good. I didn't face any delay in check-in and check-out. The hotel is far from the city, but the location was good. The appearance of the hotel was good. The service was very good. I just took one room. The room was clean. I didn't take food in the hotel. The hotel provides the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast was good. There was no extra activity. There was an indoor game in the hotel and the hotel arranged a new year party. I visited with my family. The hotel does not provide any welcome drink. The hotel provides the pick-up and drop facility, but I was having my own car. I didn't get any view from my room. I stayed for three days.

Room was spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. I had food inside the hotel and it was very tasty. Hotel was located around 14-15 km far from the Chikmagalur but it was fantastic. Appearance of the hotel was good. I booked the room online. Nothing was available in activities like swimming pool, etc. I think the tariff of the room was around 5000 rupees for one day. My overall stay in the hotel was good. I traveled there by private car with my wife in February month 2014. Chikmagalur as a destination place is good. I had no problem during check-in and check-out facility. Overall services were fine. Any scenic view was not available from the room window. Both varieties were available in food veg and non-veg. It was a romantic trip.

Rooms were neat and clean. All basic amenities were available like TV, AC, geyser, etc. Food was up to the mark. Check-in and check-out facility was on time. Staff behaviour was friendly and helpful. It was an official trip with my colleagues. I can recommend this hotel to travellers. There should be some improvement in food quality.

Had been for the first time. Rooms were good and clean. Reasonable good place. Service was good. Appearance was also ok. Food was not ok both veg and non veg. Probably only we were there and nobody was there. No delay in check-in and check-out. They had fishing. We booked the hotel room online. Amount paid was reasonable. There was a good view. It was a bit deep inside and difficult to find. It was a relaxation trip with family.

The unforgettable moment of my life was to stay in this resort. We were welcomed with Cocktail juice. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room ambience was awesome. Resort provided boating, jungle walk, trekking, campfire, evening music etc. We enjoyed till to core of our heart. The food was average.

Location and appearance were very good. Check in and check out process was not delayed. Booking and front office staff was okay. Staff services were okay. Welcome drink was given. They were giving quick responses of all our requests. They were giving quick responses of all our requests. Rooms were neat and clean. TV was there. We had no view from hotel rooms. I went there in a package trip. Food was available and it was tasty. Both veg and non-veg dishes were served in the hotel. Overall services were very good. Nothing was available in activities.
