Bangalore food, sight-seeing and shopping options
To See: The Zoo and the Grand Safari are recommended. There is usually a long queue for the safari. Give about an hour for the safari and anywhere from 2 to 3 hours for exploring the zoo.
Follow that with a visit to the Butterfly Park. You can easily spend another hour here.
The Fare: Adults 100 (125 on Holidays), Children 50 (65 on Holidays), Senior Citizens 65 (80 on Holidays), Video Cam 110 & Still Cam 20.
Food: While there are various small 'dhabas', if you cannot carry your own food, which is the best, opt for either the lunch on order from the Jungle Lodges & Resorts people or the Mayura restaurant. The Jungle Lodges & Resorts order desk is in side the zoo itself, just as you make your way towards the Safari queues. Place the order here before you run off to the safari or seeing the rest of the zoo.

Eagleton Golf Village is located ½ an hour’s drive away from Bangalore on the Mysore highway. It offers an 18-hole, 72-par Championship course spread over 168 acres. The course features 7 water bodies and strategically placed bunkers, a pro shop, locker facilities, change rooms, electric golf carts, driving range with putting greens. The 3,00,000sqft centrally air-conditioned Club Complex offers facilities ranging from a Conference Hall, Multi-cuisine Restaurant and indoor games to a swimming pool.

Attached to the club house are 48 air conditioned Executive suites spread over 3 floors. Each air-conditioned suite has a bedroom, drawing room with a convertible bed, attached bath, balcony, mini-bar, STD/ISD, CCTV and a view of the golf course. Other amenities include 24-hour coffee shop, health club & gym, travel desk, swimming pool, internet, laundry, doctor on call, and room service. All major credit cards accepted.
