You don't call Kargur an homestay, it's a lodge. There is no host, no family or anyone living there. A bunch of caretakers and servants running a scam there. The prepare food for 6 and serve it for 12. The rooms are all stinky and the beds soggy...

The homestay is a good place to stay at.Its neat and the host took care of us properly.Food was good n even the facilities provided were good.

Comments: Amazing place.. if you are looking for family outing this is the place. If you are here, you don’t need to go around seeing places... just spend time in the sprawling front yard...or lie down on the bank of the stream...
