Kalpong the only river of Andaman flows here.

Diglipur (325kms. Approx 12hrs by road from port blair) situated North Andaman island , Diglipur provides a rare experience for eco-friendly tourists. This is famous for its orange, rice and marine life. Saddle beak the highest point in the islands is nearby. One can feel the innocent Beauty of village life everywhere in Diglipur.

Lovely place to spend quality time

My last visit in september at Eco Park with friends was an wonderful experience. Keeping in mind the vast 480 acre of open land inside the park, the regular tiresome attempt of maintaing the well manicured lawn, garden and water bodies are highly appreciated. It have a replicated copy of 7 wonder all around the world. I would say this would be a world standard park compared to many beautiful gardens that I have visited in other parts of the world. The price of entry is only Rs 20 per person which is not at all big as compared to an attempt to the standard of maintenance and upkeeping the vast land. The availability of several pay and use toilets and food kisosk at moderate price is also an added advantage.I must also appriciate the Cafe Ekante though I think the food quality can still be improved. Also the Eco resort comprising 22 twin eco-cottages facing the 112-acre lake inside the Park is worth mentioning. The cottages are being set up on a 7-acre Eco Island that has come up to meet your thirst of a quaint and peacefull abode in the heart of the city. I am giving a 4 star keeping in mind the room for improvement.

Relief from hectic life

Park are the best place to rejuvenate and Eco Park is the best you can get in Kolkata. Entry fee is very nominal @ Rs. 20. You can enjoy fountain, model rain forest, gardens etc. You can also enjoy boating, cycling and ride toy train. Foods is okay if you are looking for snack. Best time to visit is in winter. Best place to hangout with friends in weekend.

Calm, soothing and refreshes your energy

A beautiful place to visit during vacation. Calm, soothing and refreshes your energy. You can hire a bicycle to take a tour along the huge area. One would love to do boating in the huge lake in between. Moreover there are a lot of spots where you can take photographs.
