In the month of December I stayed in this hotel. It was a holiday trip with family. The destination was good. The location of the hotel was very good. The appearance of the hotel was good. The ambience was good. It was surrounded by forest. The reception was average. It was a direct booking. The room was very good and spacious. The service was good. There was no room service but other services were available. The food was average. The activities were average. I would suggest this hotel to other travellers for a good stay. The overall experience of the hotel stay was good.
We went to this place after 13 years and fortunately the environment looked the same . We always learn something there. This time lots of ideas for improving our vegetable garden . Food was delicious. Like at home. All people were charming and very kind and generous with their knowledge. Heliconias will grow well in our garden and we promise to come back sooner . Thanks and regards . Jose and Carmen
Allotted room was average. All amenities were provided in the room. I had booked this room by online. The hotel appearance was good. Check in and checkout was done on time. Service was average in the hotel. WiFi facility was available in the room. Hot water was available in the bathroom. I had complimentary breakfast in the hotel. The activity was not conducted at the hotel. I would not suggest anything to this hotel. I had visited this hotel with friends.
soul trip! I booked the tent house at Elephant Valley Eco Farm resort for a day. The plae is a slice of heaven on earth, surrounded by mountains on all sides and isnt as cold as Kodi can get in November. The resort has different types of accomodations, tucked away into the natural landscape so that you hardly see the other cottages while you are there. It is built with great respect for the environment it sits in, which is a rare occurence. The rooms are decorated tastefully with antique furniture. At the same time, there are streaks of the kitschy or colourful, that is the Dune Hotel touch. The passion of the owners of the place, to nature, their commitment to organic farming and to a great experience for visitors, comes through very clearly. The food is absolutely scrumptious, made with vegatables grown in the kitchen garden 100 meters away. I can only give the vegerarian review and that is two thumbs up! There is variety, great taste, the flavours are brilliant and well, lets just say I waited for mealtimes to happen, so I could treat myself to another gastronomic delight. I was travelling with my cycle in the boot of the car and asked the resort staff if i could take it up to the woods - they checked with their management, to make sure it was ok to let a cycle go on the walking paths, since there are the plantation shrubs and the woods that they were worried about, getting trampled under a cycle wheel) and told me I could go cycling, after i promised them i would be very careful to not trample over the plants with my cycle. I liked the place so much, i came back for another day\'s stay at the hilltop cottage, on my way back home, so I could end my trip on a high note.
I visited Elephant valley during our tour from Bangalore to Rameswaram. (13 days) I with my family ( one daughter) stayed at hotel for two days ( day 10 & 11). Hotel located 7 km down hill from main highway Coimbatore to Diagonal and 14 km before main market of kodaikenal, you must required private car or taxi. When I entered in hotel premises I found second heaven for nature lover. Manager welcomed us with natural jasud flower juice and explained property of the hotel. Its full of coffee and vegetable plants, pathways, small river, garden with benches, open bamboo Dining hall, library, indoor games, camp fire, trekking activities. ( Paid guide arranged by hotel). Cottages which are originally constructed by villagers but minor modifications and amenities added. Single, double. Two storied, tree house all cottages are at different locations in between jungles all are good. We stayed single cottages opposite to dining hall, in night time you can here voice of river water, good location. If you have more days lots of activities in premises, you enjoyed lot. Staff members are courteous. Food and breakfast was excellent I recommended to visit again and again.
the place is so well located that it gives us so much peace of mind. the view is so beautiful .the aura around the hotel is so beautiful and amazing. truly a must visit and and extremely awesome place
This is a one of a affectionate accommodation. Elephant basin is the absolute accord if it comes to acropolis base resorts, with its rustic colonial cottages broadcast amongst 130 acreage of coffee acreage nestled at the bend of a assets forest. It's a beheld amusement for all your senses We backward actuality for two nights disconnected amid the amusement apartment and timberline house. The expedition aboriginal morning to the avalanche breadth was a alluring experience. The bounded adviser - a agents with the resort - is an ardent adventurer and knew his way about Its a all-inclusive acreage advance over abounding acreage - and in the affection of the wild. They accept let the aboriginal attributes of the agrarian go untouched. So acceptable that in the night, you apprehend the noises of the agrarian all about you, the timberline abode is awe inspiring.
the location of the resort itself is amazing and the drive down to the place which we drove from palani side was great. its a great escape for those who want to relax and do nothing for a couple of days with no networks and television to interrupt your family time. for those who like their room service this is not the place, coz they have none. i ahd expected a lot on the food side but it was disappointing. may be since i was comparing it to their sister concern in pondy. the room settings are rustic and and natural that makes it so lively.
