Its really a good hotel chain.Main office in NCR is really good, they helped me a lot in managing the bookings. Local booking staff is not very good. A really worth hotel chain to stay.

Darjeeling is good place for holiday and one should choose hotel elgin here. It is good hotel with co operative staff and near to market area. Food is very delicious. Room service is upto the mark.

About The Elgin

This 80 year old property is a Heritage Hotel. The Elgin is located on Lama Road in the well-known hill station, Darjeeling. The Bagdogra Airport is the nearest airport at a distance of 80 km. The nearest railway station is the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, which is 90 km from the hotel. Siliguri Main Bus Stand is 80 km from this property. The hotel organises trips to the nearby sightseeing attractions.

Rooms & Amenities

In total there are 22 rooms at The Elgin. There is 1 Suite and 22 Double Deluxe Rooms. The Elgin has an in-house multicuisine restaurant, which serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and a bar too. The facilities provided by the hotel are doctor on call, travel desk, car parking, room serviceand laundry service. They accept credit cards and have amenities for deposit locker, television in the rooms, internet browsing facilities, STD/ISD/Fax and running hot water.
