Ethipothala Waterfall

Ethipothala Waterfall is a famous mountain stream, which falls from a height of approximately 21.3 m into a lagoon. Three streams, namely Nakka Vagu, Tummala Vagu and Chandravanka Vagu combine to form this waterfall. There is also a crocodile-breeding centre at this site that attracts numerous travellers.

This waterfall joins Krishna River after flowing for a distance of around 3 km. The site is also popular for the two temples of Ranganatha and Dattatreya. Ethipothala Waterfall is located at a distance of around 15 miles from Nagarjunasagar Dam and houses few caves that extend till Srisailam. This site is on the route to Macherla and has facilities like guesthouses for the travellers.
