I visited Mysore with my friends for a holiday. I have booked the hotel keeping in mind that it was a chain of FabHotels but my experience here was awful. The room was not at all spacious and the bed was not comfortable. The food was very bad we had our food outside. It was not well maintained well it was not clean. The hotel was not situated in the prime location of the city. It was on the road but nothing was nearby from the hotel. The surrounding was not good it was almost on the outskirts of the city. I assumed the hotel will be close to railway station but it was not. The overall look of the hotel was fine in the pictures shown on the website but in reality, it was average. The entrance to the hotel seemed more like a lodge than a hotel. There was no welcome drink provided on arrival. The check in was done on time the room was allotted without any delay. The overall service at the hotel was good we stayed there for 2-3days. The room was clean but it was very small and not very comfortable to stay for a long time. The bed linen was not changed. We did take lunch from the hotel the day we reached it was not appetizing, the chicken was not fresh in the biryani. There were no extra activities available in the hotel, they did have WiFi but I didn't use it. Mysore city is beautiful in fact I was visiting here for the third time. I have visited other FabHotel but it was a complete failure.
I visited Mysore in the month of June 2017. That was a family holiday trip. I booked my stay at the Fab Hotel Olive Comforts. The destination is good to visit. The location was easy to reach and near to the main road. The market and transport near to the road. The interior of the hotel better than the exterior. The reception staff was not cooperative and not helpful. At the check-in time they were good but after that one day we were going to Ooty and they told us bus will not go in time. It takes a time to reach. In the morning we asked for tea but they said no now we can't provide. I disappointed by this behavior of staff. The service staff was good. They were cleaning the room daily. We booked a deluxe room. There were all the facilities available but the quality was low as compared to other fab hotels. The room was quite good but not like other fab hotels. We had only tea and coffee in the hotel restaurant. There were so many restaurants near the hotel but because of Ramadan month we faced some difficulties for food. There was no kid play area for food and no special food for kids. There was a lift. We reached the hotel by cab. There was a travel desk for a cab. I like to suggest this hotel to other visitors but the staff should improve the behavior. They should be professional with the customers.
I visited Mysore with my family for a holiday. The place was really nice, the location of the hotel was good it was in a serene place. The front office staff didn't provide us any welcome drink on arrival. The overall appearance of the hotel was mediocre, the restaurant was small at the hotel. There was no extra facility, maybe they had WiFi available at the hotel. I had my breakfast at the hotel it was complimentary, it was not tasty. The quantity was fine but the quality of food was not good. The room was wonderful it was quite spacious and well planned out. I did the booking online from Make My Trip. There was no swimming pool at the hotel. The restaurant should be more spacious. The overall service at the hotel was fine. It was a good budget hotel, the room was big and clean. The hotel is near to the bus stand the only drawback here was the food.
On my Holiday trip I visited Mysore. I went there along with my family in the month of November 2016. I am basically from Bellary. I booked it online through Make My trip. The location of the hotel was tough to find out. It was a bit inconvenient for the sightseeing and it was deeply connected to the main road. The appearance of the hotel was not impressive and it was on the corner and in front of the hotel there was a restaurant. We visited the Mysore Palace Zoo Chamundi Hills and the other sightseeings. The Front Office was pleasant. The staff was not helpful and the staff was not in the seat we were waiting for about 1 hour there at the reception area. He had come very late. There was a 12 noon check out the system. We have reached this hotel 6 pm and they have charged extra for an early check in. The service of the hotel was responded We have booked an AC room. The room was spacious and kept clean. The bed and the blankets were comfortable. The room interior was impressive and the ventilation was good inside the room. The food facility was there the food was tasty and served hot. I have ordered the vegetarian food but there was a 2 chicken piece in the veg curry the Nati Koli Biriyani was very delicious. There were no activities in this hotel.
I had been to Mysore and stayed at this hotel in the month of February 2017 for a holiday trip with my wife and the stay was good. I visited this destination for relaxation visit too. The destination was good as the surrounding places were good. The hotel location was good as it was convenient and there was no difficulty to reach. The appearance of the hotel very good as the exterior was good too, but the interior was not so good. The front office was very good as they were good in response. It was an online booking through make my trip. The room at this hotel was good, the amenities were good in condition, but it was pretty small. The services at this hotel were below average as I called for room services, but they did not even respond. The breakfast at this hotel was average in quality. The overall experience was good at this hotel. The best part of the hotel was location.
