Our choice was the Rajasthani food; though all types available. Open air buffet lunches/ themed dinners under flaming torch in backdrop of music and folk dances under thatched roofs - pillars walls with terracotta stuff all around. Set in lush oasis, you feel as part of history at the onetime retreat of maharani of Jodhpur. Loveseats on swings for bird watching . Four kms away is Ranakpur temple where logic takes backseat; spirit reigns. Kumbahlgarh fort on horse back/ jeep safari or take a camel ride through spectacular sadri dam/ reservoir/falls Not-to-be missed: shop for ‘durries’ from local weavers.
