It was very good experience. There was good view from the room. Room was spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and attend all request on time. It was conveniently located and cab was provided by hotel. Food was taken from outside. No other activity was there. No delay during check in and check out. Appearance wise it was go....Read More
During my visit to Coorg, I stayed in resort that belonged to Papaya County. It was arranged by private people for us and it was just a single cottage there at present as Papaya County had not invested there yet. It was resort type property and they had made a farm house over there and for lodging only two to three rooms were there and they really....Read More

We went for holiday in Coorg, Karnataka in April'13.I went with my family,it is around 260km from bangalore. It was a decent trip. The food was typically coorgi. The host were good.Rooms were big and peaceful. The approach road was bad. Please don't visit during monsoon as the road is very slippery.Overall it was decent.
The best place to relax. Beautiful peaceful surroundings with lush greenery. The resort was very good. The services provided were very good as well the staff were very polite & helpful even in the middle of the night. Definitely recommended for people who wish to relax away from the cities. very close to attractions & trekking.
Only the location and the exterior view of the cottages are worth your journey. Do not expect anything else here. The cottage interiors were just ordinary, bathrooms were not clean and the one with the open plan was full of insects and snails. Since breakfast was included in the tariff it was just basic with bread-jam and dosa. Even papaya was rati....Read More

It was a real unwind at forest flowers. Just the place to relax, no mobile phones, no one to disturb. The owners of the place are a great couple. The food that is served is really yummy. There is a lot that can be done, however we decided to just stay in the room and sleep all time.
Its a great place tucked away within an estate. Rooms were super clean. Decor was gorgeous. A few power outages but the place is backed up with a generator so power outage is no problem.Plus the surrpounding estates and jungle like vegetaiton makes staying here an overall an experience that's true to Coorg.
it was a very memorable tour the resort was like a heaven on earth!
After hours of surfing through various websites to decide a place for our stay during our trip to Coorg, we finally stumbled upon the homestay named “Forest Flower”. This resort was also recommended by a colleague of mine who is from Coorg. The location of the homestay is picturesque. It is nestled in the midst of acres of coffee estate and offered us a panoramic view and remained withdrawn from the hustle and bustle of life. We had to drive in 4 kms (from the main road) into the coffee estate to reach the homestay. Once inside we had no access to the outside world as there was absolutely no network coverage and the homestay did not have any landlines. There are 4 cottages. We stayed in the cottage named “Tulip” which was 2000/- Rs per night. It was just one room with attached bath, a double bed (for a couple), 2 chairs, 1 table, 1 mirror and 1 TV. We had a lot of insects giving us company throughout our stay in our room. One night there was a huge spider that came in through our ventilation and had us run for Mani(the room boy) to help us get rid of it. Mani was very helpful throughout our stay doing his best to make our stay comfortable. Not once will you see the owners of Forest Flower. All transactions and communications are through Mani who pretty much should be credited with running the place efficiently. So even if you have complaints you have no one to tell it to since the owners are least bothered about what happens with the guests. The rooms didn’t have power most of the time and the UPS was of no use. Therefore there was no hot water as was promised. The food was a disappointment. Breakfast on day 1 was rice balls with Sambar and on day 2 it was dosa with Sambar. They should really have some more varieties. Lunch was typical coorg food which tasted the same all the days. But the coffee that was provided morning and evening was by far the best coffee that I have ever had in my entire life. It smelled amazing and tasted even better. Fresh from the estate. Even though we felt that the money we paid for the stay was not worth it, the place COORG compensated for all that. It is a must-visit destination. But I probably wouldn’t recommend Forest Flower for your stay in Coorg. Best experience: Coffee Worst experience: Everything about the room
We were passing by Madikeri and happened to stay there by chance, it was\'nt planned, the place and specially the cottage which is english styled is just fabulous, The hosts cooked up a good meal at short notice, They stay a little away from the palce in the same estate and we did not meet them in person.
