Stay was excellent. My trip was for three nights and four days. I liked hotel property most in Goa. Location is excellent. Appearance is excellent. Booking and front office service are excellent. Staff is well behaved. Rooms are neat and clean. Veg and non veg both foods are available. Food is excellent. Beach is excellent. The staff at water sport was not reliable and therefore we did not do any activity there. Games are excellent. Goa place is excellent.

This is totally a 5-star property. It was my official trip. I went there in a group. We booked only one room there. Two persons stayed in one room. I went there in January. We stayed there for 4 days. Welcome drink was offered on arrival. Amenities like mini-freeze, mini-bar, etc. were available in the rooms. They had their own private pool. There was a view of beach from the room. We had our own activities like hunting, etc. No music arranged from the hotel side. We were having our own management company and we did rock climbing, etc. Veg and non veg both types of food were available there. Food particularly Indian and Continental was superb. There was a buffet system. Location wise, it was excellent. Appearance wise, it was very good. The behaviour of the staff was average. Room service was good. Room and room facility was very good. Food and drink was excellent. Activity was good. Aguada as a tourist destination is an excellent place. Reception services were not up to the mark. We have to wait to get the rooms after reaching there. Food was hygienic.

I liked the hotel and it was very nice. Welcome drink was provided by the hotel. Hotel is very close to the beach. Sea-facing rooms are available. Staff was very good. Rooms were also as per expectations. Food quality was up to the mark and taste wise it was delicious. Location was excellent. Appearance of the hotel was well maintained and rooms were furnished. Booking and front office was convenient. Check-in and check-out was timely. There was swimming pool and mini bar also. I stayed in normal rooms. TV, geyser, and refrigerator all basic amenities were there. I traveled with my family. Activities were also nice. I traveled Goa in Feb month. It is value for money hotel and fully recommendable and depends on person to person. Goa is an excellent place. I stayed for 6 days in this hotel.

The Locality is awesome on the lane of candolim beach and kingfisher villa. Private beach for Tourist and many parties organised. Food is the best I had till now, surely excellent food. Service is the main preference for this chain of hotels and tourist care and provides pick drop so that no panic situation arises.

It’s a good resort to stay and enjoy with family members. The resort is near the beach and provides private access to the beach where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Also, the hotel is well maintained and has a dedicated and helpful staff. I really enjoyed a lot.

We visited Goa for a holiday - Rooms ( cottages where we stayed) quite comfortable and is in nice soothing surroundings. You have a choice of ocean facing rooms also.
typical of Taj amazing courtesy and great service.

however they have very little of activities though you can have some water sports in the beach. Taj by itself has rock climbing and tennis which are quite good. The outdoor sports activity is run by a professional outfit. Though I find it surprising an hotel charging for tennis for its in house guests.

Restaurants prices are quite ok considering they are five star and 24% taxes are applicable average of INR 2800 (USD 50) for 4 ( veg food without liquor) except in Thai restaurant of Taj village ( which is adjacent) where it goes to INR 3500. (USD 65).

Beach is excellent safe and nice water sports though taj is not running it. Spa is brilliant but one thought is on the expensive side. Taj could have had some treatments at a basic price. However, I would again comment on the hospitality which they could provide and also the super fast service. When my daughter fell ill they were ready to provide all doctors help needed .
they also allow you to share all the facilities of their adjacent property Taj Village and that gives us more space and places to visit and hang around. One would of course prefer a little more variety in food especially for lunch as only coffee shops are open during lunch in both the properties.

Went there in the month of April 2013. It was an office offsite where in we had taken a package which includes all meals. Additionally most of the time was spent at the property itself.

Staff & Service: This is one area where Taj properties never let you down. Staff was always helpful and courteous.

View: Property is situated at one end of Candolim beach and has an amazing view of the sea. Hotel is spread across a small mountain and our room was on one of the slants which had a beautiful view of the sea.

Food & Drink: We dined at various restaurants in both Vivanta as well as the sister resort (Holiday Village). Food and service were always good. Chef himself explained us about the local cuisine and suggested various accompaniments that we should try. However one thing which was a let down was options in veg being limited.

Room: Didn't spend much time in the room (It was Goa!) however I have to mention one thing. The glass in the bathrooms is completely transparent (There is a curtain but there are slits) which can work to your advantage or disadvantage (depending upon whom are you sharing your room with :D )

Amenities: We didn't try any of the activities. However I must mention that hotel staff doesn't mind if you are using swimming pool of Holiday Village which is better than the Vivanta pool.

Location: It is located at one end of Candolim beach which is much more cleaner and less crowded as compared to Bagha or Calunghute. Additionally, some of the coolest clubs/lounges have come up in Candolim which works well.

Family Vacation at Vivanta by Taj at Fort Aguada was truly an amazing experience. Smartly dressed hotel staff greeted us & took our luggage from Airport lounge. Complimentary Transfer from Airport to Hotel is provided in AC coach. At the hotel entrance, a huge well decorated lobby with a magnificent view of ramparts of the Portuguese Fort and Sinquerim beach overlooking Arabian Sea in the background welcomed us. While enjoying the view, welcome drink was served and check in formalities were completed in a very friendly way by the reception staff.
Our room was beautifully set and had a fabulous sea view. Children liked the choice of pillows available in the room. Bathroom, though not very big, was spotlessly clean and well designed with bathtub and other amenities. One problem for Indian tourist is that toilet seats are not fitted with water jet. The room had all the luxuries like mini bar, DVD player, LCD, personal tea/coffee makers and decor in traditional Portuguese style. Room service was excellent and rooms are cleaned twice daily. The staff are truly amazing and really do know the true meaning of service
There are five restaurants/Bars where variety of food and beverages like sea food delicacy, Italian food, Indian buffet, cocktails & mocktails are served in lively ambiance. Food tastes excellent and displayed in creative style. We feel that food at Taj Vivanta is the best in Goa. Buffet breakfast which is part of package is lavish with variety of food from all over. Dessert station full of delicious pastries and sweets is the most popular among children. Live Music at pool in the evening with guests dancing on Goan music is a retreat.
Infinity swimming pool is a fun with children enjoying splash and ballooning games. In the evening there is live music with dance at swimming pool. Relaxing in huts around pool is exquisite. Complimentary snacks are served during pool hours. Children have lots of indoor and outdoor activities arranged by hotel. Hotel also have an exclusive Sports complex where one can enjoy games like TT, tennis, volleyball, squash, cricket, golf, billiards etc. Hotel also arranges outdoor activities like rock-climbing, trekking, rappelling etc.
The hotel covers a huge area with charming gardens and picturesque landscaping all around. The beach just on the back side of hotel which is accessible through guarded back gate. All water-sports activities like Windsurfing, paragliding, jet-skiing, scuba diving, dolphin tour are just outside the back-gate of hotel. One can enjoy the clean beach which is well kept by hotel staff. It's a Luxury Resort in true sense.
There is a gift shop named Taj Khazana which had a very good curios collection. Other facilities which we could not use include Spa, fitness center, beauty salon and library.
Stay at Taj Vivanta for about a week to enjoy the Hotel lavishly; it is really an amazing & wonderful memorable experience. We'll look forward for opportunities to return.

Best Experience: My daughter got a chance to sing a song on Easter day buffet. We enjoyed it thoroughly with a big round of applause. Also security in hotel is quite vigilant. My daughter left Camera bag in Garden area. Next morning we reported it at Reception. Within half an hour, the camera bag was delivered in our room.

Worst Experience: Nil
