Experiencing staying in the property especially services and management, it is a family run guest house and not actual heritage hotel. They manipulate even the number of mineral bottles taken, according to us it was 4, and as per their bill it was 8, which we paid to avoid conflicts. No records, no vouchers, no signatures, highly unprofessional No rate card, no menu card, discriminating rates, the owner tells me 250 per meal, and my hubby 350 per meal and finally puts 400 per meal in the bill, which again we paid. At check-in, we were told 5 year old child will not be charged at all, and she was charged even for meals she didn't have The level of service in other heritage properties give is level apart, horrible service from their staff We were told you can add to fixed menu whatever you like, we asked for Dale bati churma, we were told yes and finally got something else on table at meal time. We had breakfast included voucher but charged us for that too. They took our voucher at the time of check-in agreeing breakfast is free, then put the same in bill and asked us to show the voucher which they had, moreover no Internet to open the same on our email 2 days we were served maximum all different versions of green peas. Not done when we are spending 20k for 2 days, and it's not a small amount We deserved clarity of rates at the time of check in, all we wanted was value for our money spent, which was highly disappointing. These people increase the rates the way they want, it's not good for reputation of their property, even a small guest house would have better professionalism. Absolutely worst management came across though we have been travelling extensively Double the number of mineral waters, wrong rates of meals than committed, wrong number of even cold coffees, no WiFi Please avoid going to this property even if pics attract because the management and services are horrible, and that too is an understatement!
The hospitality was very good. However, the rooms were okay but bathrooms were below mark. The dinner was fine but breakfast was just average. It was thoughtful to organize The Forest Trail and was nice but I think if it was bit earlier then we could have probably seen some animal. There were no entertaining activities. There was no previous briefing regarding precautions or dressing for the trail. A lady slipped in the river and was hurt and her belongings were completely wet. I think the tariff was high keeping in view the location, food and facilities provided.
There was no problem in finding the hotel and it is located in the city. The interiors and exteriors of the hotel are good. It was actually a palace which was converted into hotel, it was a lifetime experience staying in such a place. The staff were good to me. The rooms were good and the amenities in the room were working properly. The room had a view of valley and the palace. There was no delay in check-in or check-out. The hotel organized various activities like trekking, city tour and a jungle lunch which was fun. The food quality was good. They will serve whatever you want. We tasted Veg food, which was good. The stay was value for money. I would recommend this hotel to other travellers.
I went to Udaipur last year for watching the market for sale promotion of my business; When I reached in the city then a person suggest me to stay in Fort Dhariyawad Hotel, Udaipur. I have to stay in the hotel for three days and two nights, then I felt a wonderful stay in the hotel with a very attractive, comfortable room and greatly enjoyed my time with the hosts. The staff and room service is also very nice and polite. In the restaurant the food quality is also very good. Overall the experience in the hotel is very great and we gave him seven star out of seven for their services.
It's the premium hotel in Udaipur, expensive in rates as well as in service. Very much generous service. Good warm welcome. Nice food, delicious as well as authentic. Staff were polite and prompt. Room was redecorated and spacious and clean. Slightly overpriced maybe but I still would prefer the same hotel in my next visit to Udaipur. So yes, I endorse this hotel.
I felt extremely good at the hotel we have had a beautiful experience during our stay at Fort Dhariyawad . The food was fantastic with a homely service . Room facilities was not as good as expected. Tariffs were slightly higher compared to a the faclities
