Fort Madhogarh was constructed by a Rajput king of the Kachchvaha Clan, Madho Singh. As per the legend, this fort was the headquarters of Sawai Pratap Singh of Jaipur during the battle of Tunga. The signs of casualties in the battle can still be found in the form of rusted armours and human bones on the plains of the River Tunga, situated in the vicinity of the fort. The fort has now been turned into a heritage hotel and the beauty of the Tunga plain is best enjoyed from here.
