32 km northwest of Mapusa lies the quiet and friendly village of Arambol. A serene and peaceful village,
that is close to an almost untouched beach.
Over the year many people stop by and rent accommodation to enjoy the
calm and solitude of the locality. Along
the beach is a gorgeous fresh water lagoon that is perhaps a world in itself.
The freshwater lake is fed by a small stream and the sulfurous mud of the lake
is known to have a healing effect. It is the perfect spot to walk along the
lake and even take home some miracle mud to use to help cure some skin
ailments.
