Galingka, a bungalow, is located at the backdrop of the second largest peak of the Himalayan ranges, Kanchenjunga peak. Built during the regime of Britishers, this bungalow was constructed by British wool traders. This house was used by them during their trade to travel from one part to another part of India.
In addition, the beautiful surroundings of this bungalow make it one of the ideal locations for a picnic spot for the tourists. This park was added to the house after Kalimpong got its recognition as a summer hill resort.
