I had been to Ganapatiphule for 3 nights. I had a chance to stay at 2 different categories of the room there. Although I had no idea of how a konkani hut would, I still thought I should try it out for one day. The overall experience was very good. The best thing about the resort is the beach, simply amazing. Infact, that's the best thing about the whole place. Cummuting can be problem if you do have a vehicle of your own. The rooms are quite big with big balconies. But as with all other govt. run resorts, a little more effort could be done on the maintenance front. The resort doesn't have too much activities packed in for the guests and...

truly awesome. ganapatipule was a slice of heaven and the best way i could have celebrated the onset of the new year - with friends, a bottle of beer and the sea at close range. white sands, clear gentle waters, beautiful sunsets, picturesque flocks of birds and the occasional bullock cart race - ganapatipule was the perfect get away from mumbai's throngs. three blissful days spent alternately lazing on the sand and frolicking in water!
