Hotel Review of Shivsagar Palace
Comments: The hotel where we stayed: Shiv Sagar is a beautiful property. Although developed like a grand old palace inside, there is ample scope to develop the outside space. The hotelier can develop a children's park, or the lawns and grow different flowers and even the palm trees for which Ratnagiri is famous. The staff is laidback, but always smiling and eager to server. On a positive side, there are badminton racquets and a table tennis table (with equipment) for leisure.
Best Experience: Very nice and beautiful place. Lots of greenery, and courteous people. The beach is awesome: clean and bright. The best part is the temple is located on the beach, and it is a must watch sight especially in the evenings, with the setting sun. The Prachin Konkan museum is cool, and different. The guides are warm, cordial and know the history.

Hotel Review of Shivsagar Palace
The staff at Shivsagar palace is very adjusting and welcoming. The rooms are clean. There are few food dishes but made very nicely. Sea facing view is everywhere. I would suggest the same hotel to all others. It is not very costly hotel. It is 5 mins drive from Ganapatipule beach and temple....
