The hotel was very nice. The behaviour was very polite and helpful in the hotel. The allotted room was spacious in the hotel. The activity was not conducted by the hotel. I had booked this room by online. The lawn was not available at the hotel. I had visited this hotel for relaxation purpose with my friends.
Location of hotel is excellent room and service are so and without AC. But resonable price. Food I didn't tried, breakfast was not good at all. Specially for north Indians. Finally got good feeling staying at wooden cottage. I would recommend to go on month of October or November. Must try once.
Hotel was so far from city. Location is good its in middle of one coffee plantation. Food was also good. But services was bad even they did n't give water also. Rooms are not clean also so many bugs in the room, they didn't clean bed sheet also. Over ally we enjoyed the food their.
Was an amazing stay. We went to the home stay in the evening after visiting the tourist attractions of Coorg. The home stay is in the middle of Forest. The signing in process was smooth as we booked it online. The rooms were maintained properly. Proper privacy was also provided by the hotel staff. The staff was cooperative and helpful. The breakfast was okay. Had a good experience of shooting with airgun. Overall a good stay, enjoyed a lot with friends.
Ganesh Estate home break is a alarming abode to break in Coorg, it was a calm and peaceful stay. Ambience is great surrounded by trees. Rooms are congenital with wood, advised well, every board allowance has a Sit out in foreground of the allowance for dining. Staff were actual courteous. They accommodate chargeless and actual acceptable breakfast and if you adjustment aliment actuality you will get beginning and appetizing home fabricated aliment but you can not get annihilation abroad from aliment Overall the break acquaintance was actual acceptable.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Madikeri district of Coorg. Beautiful location, rustic looking with a die for view. This is a place for people who want to connect with mother nature, not for those who wants luxury. It is a budget hotel and you get to stay amongst coffee plantation. The amenities are basic. Food is just about average and is home cooked. The service is average too in line with charge. It's a must, visit for those who require quite, calm and serene environment and also who do not worry much about luxury and amenities.
Wooden cottages are good. But service is completely absent. It's away from the town and the hosts simply deny you dinner, so you have to get back to town for anything other than a breakfast. Contrary to what they claim there is no 24x7 hot water, but only in the morning Contrary to what they claim, there is no power backup and when there are power cuts in the night god should help you The wooden cottages are far away from where the hosts stay and it's so scary in the dark to come out, phone lines won't work, no Mobile signal, no emergency lights, giant mosquitoes will make your life miserable in the nights. All is well only if there is no power cut in the night Hosts never come to enquire about your comfort and needs, only a humble service boy makes his appearance to serve you breakfast. Coffee is very bad, nothing like Coorg.
I went to Coorg in December 2014. The place was awesome. Nature lover will love this place. Choose home stay in Coorg then hotel. Coorg is called as Scotland of India. Here we can find home made wine. Ganesh Estate will service the wine. Food was good.
We went to Ganesha Home stay in the month of June. Its a nice home stay in a coffee estate and it is a three km away from Madikeri. We stayed in Wooden cottage. Its very nice experience to stay in Wooden cottage. Food is offered by them is very good. Owner is very nice person. The place is very near to Tala kaveri, Bhagamandala and Brahmagiri.
We visited Madikeri in the month of June, and stayed there for only one night. The cottage where we stayed is really well built and maintained. Good environment, 3 to 4 km for from city gives you calm environment. The staff and owner are good and soft. They will arrange the vehicle for your trip around Madikeri. About food its very good homely food. Veg and non veg both available. Don't have food out side because you will miss the taste. First and best experience.
Location and facility is good, set amidst the estate. But the power supply is bad and very warm in wooden cottages. Even when rest of main house is on generator they dont bother to give power to wooden cabins, as its manually controlled. Whole night we steamed in the room more like a sauna, where we cant even keep windows open as there is no grill or mesh to keep out insects also.
Excellent - we were welcomed with warmth and the service was friendly and prompt
coorg is an awesome place to visit and it had become more enjoyable with the ganesha homestay.
We enjoyed the scenery. Stay was fairly comfortable. Power failure played spoil sport. Food was sumptuous. Housekeeping was commendable. Staff were courteous and helpful. It was a. Convenient place as many tourist spots were close by. If we are to visit the place again, we would definitely stay in the same hotel, but would take two rooms as the rooms are too small for three people to stay in .
