Gangapur is located some 45 km from Bhilwara and is a Rajasthani village which becomes a lively spot when there is a cattle fair. A cattle fair involves a large number of domestic animals, especially cattle being traded.
The cattle fairs of Rajasthan are a big attraction. Gangapur is one such place where this activity is very popular and it was earlier a part of Gwalior. But now, it is an independent and a municipal town.
