Gautam Hotel Reviews
The behaviour of the staff was very good at the hotel. There was no activity arranged by the hotel. The check-in and check-out was done on time at the hotel. The destination of the hotel was good. The complimentary food was provided in the hotel.
I had visited this hotel with my family. The hotel location was good. The hotel was value for money. I would like to recommend this hotel for other travellers. All amenities were provided in the room. The room was neat and clean. The Wi-Fi facility was available in the room.
One of the older hotels in the town of Mahabaleshwar - this hotel has been well maintained and kept up with the times. It offers good rooms with decent amenities and it is located in a nicely tucked away part of the town. You can walk upto the excellent Wilson Point too. Quiet location is a must in a town which now teems with a crowd. They had lots of parking too which was nice.
The room allotted to me was neat and clean. The Wi-Fi facility was not provided by the hotel. The hotel was located at the city. The parking facility was there at the hotel. The overall experience at the hotel was good. The surrounding of the hotel was good. Some children activity and swimming pool was organized by the hotel.
I stayed in Gautam during my summer vacation. Hotel is really worth to stay especially for the food. They serve best quality food. They are specialist for Gujarati recipes. Location also nice. Lovely breakfast.. Very peaceful place. Activities also good. You can enjoy in pool area. I must visit again.
It's my first Diwali vacation after my marriage and it was wonderful experience as I had visited Mahabaleshwar many times but this time it's different. Hotel is nice, everything is good other than location, it was far away from any sightseeing point so this was only the issue otherwise there is no doubt for giving best hotel.
The location of the hotel is very nice and there was no problem in travelling here. The hotel is not nearby the market but the place is calm and peaceful. The appearance of the hotel is very good and interiors are maintained well. The staff members in the hotel are helpful and very nice in behaviour. The room allotted to us was spacious and well-maintained with all the required amenities in good condition. There was no delay in check-in or check-out procedure, in fact I made a delay and management cooperated with me. The food provided was superb in quality and taste was delicious. There are some activities and games conducted by the management. But as per the accommodation the hotel is fantastic and I will surely recommend this hotel to other travellers.
My experience at this hotel was good and I did not find any problem in reaching here. The surrounding of the hotel was good and the appearance of the hotel is average as there was some renovation work going on. The room allotted to me was cleaned properly but bed was not good and mattress was too thin, and there was not such a great view available. The room had basic amenities but geyser was not working properly. The view from garden was extremely good and food provided was good in quality and taste. There are no activities or games as such available at this hotel. As per the budget the hotel was worth but rooms could be better.
We went in monsoon last year and all the hospitality and all the stuff is good. Some what price is much more apart from that location also good. Safe for family and couple, value for money and food is good, Jain food available. But food much more expensive side. Hence our Mahabaleshwar trip is good and enjoyable specially in monsoon.
This hotel has a great location along with great hospitality. The quality of food they provide is amazing as well. The pool is a little out of the way due to its odd location, but there are other things to do. The garden is pretty good for families to hang around. The staff is pretty helpful as well and the rates are great as well.

Finally, Gautam Hotel has been graced with a true, five star, luxury hotel. I have been to many five star hotels but this hotel truly shines!!! The hotel is wonderfully located. we were immediately greeted by the doormen along with three other staff members before arriving at the front desk. The front desk staff was welcoming, kind and efficient. We were in awe of how beautiful the lobby and the entire hotel is. The rooms were modern and stylish and very roomy. The bed linens and bed itself made for hypnotic sleep and we enjoyed the wonderful bathroom and room amenities even having an nespresso maker in our room. Restaurant in Gautam Hotel, has done a magnificent job in making this restaurant a truly special dining experience.
Hotel was located far from the bus stand, railway station and temple. Behaviour of the staff members was good and services were nice. All basic amenities were available in the room like TV, AC, geyser, Wi-Fi connection, etc. Room tariff was approximatly Rs 5000 for per day. Hotel was value for money. Room was spacious, neat, clean and well maintained. Bed sheets, pillow, blankets and other things were neat and tidy. Outside view was available from the room window. I had food inside the hotel. Quality and taste of the food was fine. Activities were available there. I had no issue about this hotel.
Lovely experience staying in Gautam to our request they send food in room for my granny. Yummy homely food served with love and pocket friendly. You will get tired of eating but they don't get tired of serving so many different varieties of food for kids as well as elders. In the night there are puppet shows, magic shows and other entertaining programs. You will get nice Massage at very reasonable rates. Overall anyone would go again and again..
We visited Hotel Gautam in the year 2007. It was our 2nd honeymoon destination. We enjoyed most of the amenities; due to heavy rains it was most of the times inside the rooms but whenever we used to get a chance we used to utilise the resources. The food at Hotel Gautam is its biggest ever plus point and it is served with pure pleasure and homely feeling. I would recommend visiting this hotel in late rainy season or winter.
It was the best hotel ever that I had ever stayed. It was like home away from home. The food served was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel to enjoy with family. Great view of a valley from the rooms. It was a memorable stay.
