This is a budget hotel which provides no frills accommodation that is surprisingly good. I stayed in a single room that was reasonably sized, had a window AC, fan, sufficient lights, a work desk with two mains sockets and a nice swivel chair, a fridge, an almirah with six hangars, and a luggage rack. The bed was comfortable and impeccably clean. The room itself and bathroom were scrupulously clean. The bathroom fittings were spotless. I particularly liked the three mode shower. Hot water was on tap, no waiting required. The complimentary breakfast was very good, though they won't serve coffee. For short stays this hotel is highly recommended. Room service was a bit slow. I ordered the kabob set that arrived on a single yellow plastic tray covered with aluminum foil, reminiscent of the railways! The Dal had a hint of the train but the food was otherwise wholesome and quite good. Though they don't serve coffee. It is served in a very nice open restaurant in the front lobby. For the price this is a highly recommended hotel for short stays.
Best designable hotel with nice front design. It is a big hotel and gives the best service like well-ventilated comfort rooms, tasty food and drinks, clean 24 hours electricity. I enjoyed this hotel by staying 2 days with my family and enjoyed. Ginger, Bhubaneswar is a great place, a short-medium stay. It's very homely, reasonably well-located. The people were warm and helpful. The food is reasonably good. They have good parking facilities. It's a amazing place for travellers to stay.
We were returning from Andaman tour, planned to visit Bhubaneswar and Puri before heading home, took flight from Port Blair, indirect flight via Chennai took around 10hrs, at 9pm we reached Bhubaneswar airport. Hotel was about 6 to 7 km from the airport. Hotel had an fabulous modern infrastructure with elevator and gym in it. Received an warm welcome from the entrance and reception, staff and receptionist were very polite and gentle in behaviour. Rooms and wash-rooms were nicely furnished with clean marble flooring in rooms and tiles in wash-rooms. We stayed in the smart double room which have very good wifi connectivity throughout the day. Hotel have its own restaurant with nice variety of eateries available in the menu. Nicely decorated rooms with new furnitures in it. Food was spicy and delicious. Next day visited the Iskcon temple, about 3km or less from the hotel was the nearest spot. Must visit the Lingaraj temple and Khandagiri caves about 10km from the hotel.
Location of this hotel is great I didn't think about it I mean best location of Bhubaneswar means jayadev vihar, kiit campus road and this hotel is in accurate location we find easily. We are late but their staff service us in great way and wonderful thing I never seen staff are so polite, their behaviour's so clearly. Thank Rajesh and thank to all staff.
I visited Bhuvaneshwar for 2 reasons. 1. I am working on Emperor Ashoka\'s Edicts and two of Ashoka\'s important Major Rock Edicts are near Bhuvaneshwar - at Dhauli Hills (about 10 Kms) and at Jaugada (about 170 Kms from Bhuvaneshwar) 2. My entire family (11 Members) wanted to enjoy holidays far away from Mumbai and also enjoy Dhauli Hills, Konark Temple and Chilka Lake. We stayed at Ginger Hotel on 9th,10th and 11th February 2013. Services provided by the hotel were very good except the reception counter, which was very much time consumimng and not guest friendly. All rooms were (we took 5 rooms) very much neat, clean and with ample of natural light from windows ( that to avoiding direct sun shine ). The entire stay was comfortable. Break-fast and Dinner services were very good. We even enjoyed entertainment in the room, older people with Good TV and youngesters with Wi-Fi Internet. This is excellent. If any body visiting Bhuvaneshwar for anything like bussiness, sight seeng, Holiday or pilgrimage tour, I will suggest Ginger Hotel to be the best for more than satisfactiory stay within so nice budget.
