The food served there was not good. The hotel location was good as it was near the Mysore Palace and the surroundings were full or greenery. The hotel was very near to the bus stand. There was a small market for food and groceries. The interior and exterior appearance was good with a nice lobby. The room allotted was reasonably spacious, neat, clean and maintained with a mini Bath facility and basic amenities. There was no view from the room. Food served was very bad. The quality and varieties were not good. There were limited varieties. Staff at the hotel was helpful and friendly, and they were quick to attend to all our requests. There was no delay in check-in and check-out time. There were no activities or games in the hotel. They arrange for sightseeing which was chargeable.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights in July 2015. It was very nice stay. The hotel is well located, it is close to the Zoo and Palace. Pros- 1. Well trained staff and nice hospitality by the staff. 2. Rooms are clean and tidy. 3. AC was good. 4. The price was affordable after MakeMyTrip discount. Credit goes to MakeMyTrip. 5. Dedicated travel desk to suit the needs of visitors. 6. Restaurant is at the hotel. So we do not have to search outside for food. Also they have Cafe Coffee Day. 7. Kettle is provided in the room to prepare coffee. 8. Free WiFi all over the hotel. Cons- 1. The check-in time is at 12. 00 noon like western style. This option does not fit as most of the tourists who usually come by trains as trains arrive at destination at early morning or late nights. They do provide early check in option 4 hours before usual check-in time. But it is based on availability and it cannot be confirmed in advance. 2. Food is bit costlier. Breakfast Buffet costs Rupees 190 which is way too high for the delicacies offered. 3. Bathroom walls requires touch up. Bathroom is clean but due to those black lines between the tiles the clean look is lost.
