"Fresh environment"

The ambiance was good and we enjoyed because of the company we had. the housekeeping was not upto the mark.

Best Experience: close to the river and fresh environment.

Worst Experience: food, service and attitude of the staff.

staying at the Glasshouse, right on the river ganga was an excellent summer time holiday. We visited it in Mid may- the weather was a bit hot - but allowed us to do several trips of river rafting. We also visited dev prayag, rishikesh and haridwar... More

wonderful location on the banks of ganga river.this is only plus point of this resort,no room service very old fashioned rooms, huge but very poorly maintained bathrooms and exorbitantly high room tarriff..

About The Glasshouse On The Ganges

Set amidst mango orchards, The Glasshouse on the Ganges was once the private garden-retreat of the Maharajas of Tehri Garhwal. Later converted to a heritage property by the Neemrana Group, the resort offers a view of the mountains. A spring that flows through the property is said to have curative and healing properties. Leisure activities at the Glasshouse include nature walks, trekking, river rafting and fishing. Adventure buffs can also try water-skiing at Dak Pathar and winter sports in Auli.

Rooms & Amenities

The Glasshouse can accommodate 35 persons in 15 rooms with a choice of Deluxe suites and standard double rooms. The restaurant is multi-cuisine and meals are served in the dining hall. Sight seeing tours, camping facilities and water sports can be arranged on prior request. Doctor on call, health spa facilities, travel assistance and laundry service are also provided.
