Quick Summary
This Heritage Home was built in the year 1850 by Sir Walter Mounde and has played host to many famous personalities including former Prime Minister of India, the late Jawaharlal Nehru. At an altitude of 7600 FSL, Glyngarth is located 5 km from Ooty, 200m before the Ooty Gymkhana (Golf) Club. The Villa is situated in 4 acres of woods and greenery and has Victorian architecture, period furniture made from Burmese teak and wooden floors. The Villa has 3 deluxe double rooms and 2 master bedrooms. The kitchen offers a multi-cuisine spread consisting of Indian, Continental & Chinese food.

Rooms & Amenities
The 5 rooms are all deluxe double-rooms and have wooden floors, attached bathrooms, sit-outs and fireplace. The facilities include log fire, laundry service, satellite TV, mini library, doctor on call, cards room, and a spacious lawn for camp fires and barbecues. Sight seeing trips to Ooty & Coonoor can be organized for additional cost. For those passionate about golf, the Ootacamund Gymkhana Club situated within 200 metres offers golfing. Foreign Exchange services are available in Ooty town. Credit cards accepted.
