IT was recommended by a journalist friend who frequents Thanjavur. For a small town like Thanjavur with a world-famous temple, it was the best we could get. So it IS the best you can get in the town.

Costly/ expensive hotel, but good. In the heart of the town near bus stand. Free breakfast was given. Tanjavur is a tourist and pilgrimage center. Tiruvarur,Trichy, Mannargudi, Kumbakonam and Pudukottai are nearby towns.Trains to Chennai,... More

The Hotel was perfect for a town like tanjore. The service was good and the rooms and the lobby looked decent.

Best Experience: The Big temple and palace was located at walkable distance.

Worst Experience: Food was really bad.

Good for one who has roots in Thanjavur. Ideal for travellers who wish to see places and temples nearby. It is in a crowded locaton but happens to be close to the bus stand and the ralilay junction too.

"It was an enjoyable trip..."

It was an enjoyable trip to Thanjavur. In the hotel our stay was a very pleasant one. The good food availablity was an advantage. However when we order food to our room the room service was absolutely hopeless
