Hotel Review of Heritage Village Club
Comments: We were planning for a long time to go to Goa and it finally materialized this year. We took a 4 day tour from our home town in Delhi to Goa. Goa is a land of beaches and churches. Goan churches are famous for their interesting architecture, which is usually a blend of two or more forms.
The visit to Goa was one of the best enjoyed family tours. We stayed at the boutique hotel “Heritage Village Club”, located in South Goa at the virgin Arrosim Beach. Heritage Village Club facilities are comparable to any major hotels in Goa. The resort is about 30 minutes drive from the Dabolim Airport and near Margao City, where a major Railway Station is located. A big size swimming pool, good dining, pool table, and serene surroundings were the highlights. The children can enjoy in a separate pool. The quiet resort is charming with the bountiful beauty of nature. The price is all inclusive of accommodation, food, snacks in between meals and in house beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Best Experience: Goa possesses one of the finest stretches of sandy coastline in India. For the average tourist interested in having a good time, “the beaches' is what Goa is all about. It has been widely publicized and adds to the mystique of Goa. This is not without reason because the tropical climate, the coconut trees, the white sand beaches all have been immortalized and add to the romantic allure of Goa. A Goan is said to be born with music in his blood and music literally accompanies him from the cradle to the grave. Musical traditions run in whole generations. The hotel kept daily evening programs with variety of shows like live band, DJ music, Saxophone playing, Karoake singing, Magic show, Tambola, which is well enjoyed in a relaxing mood after day outing.

South Goa is predominantly virgin countryside. The beaches of South Goa are fantastic. Most of the beaches are isolated with no disturbance of the peace; all you have to do here is enjoy the beaches, wonderful food and hospitality of the locals. Arrosim Beach, next to Heritage Village Club, is one of the most
picturesque and scenic locations in Goa. The beach is quieter and cleaner when compared with the other renowned beaches
in Goa. This was the best deal as the other popular beaches were found to be overcrowded during day visits. The soft white sandy beach is a major draw for several tourists. Peaceful strolling at Arrosim beach for about one hour refreshed the body and mind. The family enjoyed wading through sea; though due to strong undercurrents it was advised not to venture out far in the sea.
The Heritage Village Club main buffet restaurant is called ‘Chutney’. It provides all type of International, Indian as well as Goan food. This is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The intermingling of Arabian, Portuguese and native cultures is very much reflected in the cuisine of Goa. Goan cuisine is a unique blend of richness and simplicity- the constantly recurring notes being struck by the fish and the coconut. Fish is one of the most important ingredients of Goan cuisine. For all practical purposes, “fish curry and rice” is without doubt Goa's staple diet.
The ‘Casa Roca’ bar serves cocktails all day long. The poolside bar provides one with hot and cold snacks.
Ayurvedic Spa can be availed for therapeutic treatments. Souvenirs, gifts and handicrafts are available in the basement shop, next to which is the recreational room with Pool Table, Table Tennis, and Library.
The staff is very friendly. The hotel provides half day sight seeing tour to Mangesh Temple, South Goa churches, Miramar Beach, Shopping at Panaji and concluding with River cruise at sunset.

Away from the crowded North Goa, Heritage Village Club with nice surroundings and serene atmosphere was a joy. Our visit was in the 3rd week of October. The weather in Goa at this time was perfect, cloudy but not very humid.

It is a beautiful resort. It’s very cosy and comfortable. Only that the fun games etc., never take place. They just simply tell it will happen....

In a few words, simply great. I have been to Goa earlier but this is the first time I really enjoyed. Though the resort was with 90% occupancy and had more than 70 % foreigners , never did we feel out of place, nor were we treated any differently . The staff was extremely courteous, responsive, ever smiling, and very helpful t the core. Hats off to the general manager, Mr Clarence to mange his staff . If there...

Mr. Clarence farrel, the GM of the place is a 'walk the talk' hands on kind of a manager. He mingles with the guests at a personal level and his exuberance rubs off not only on the guests but also on his colleagues down to the juniormost of the staffs. I've never found so happy employees anywhere before in a resort scenario. The place keeps you happy and engaged. The all inclusive, unlimited deal is great. Though I am not the...

The package with all meals and convenience of eating at any time was good. The unlimited beverage concept is great. Sea is little off though. Resort can improve maintainence of the swimming pool, which was little dirty probably because of rains. Gym of resort is in shambles with virtually no facilities. They need to have an airconditioned gym with treadmill etc....

Overall experience was good. Heritage Village Club is a good value for money resort, particularly on all inclusive format. Very good rooms, decent food excellent hospitality. However, they need to add a lot of beach side activities. Although resort is so near to Arossim beach they should take special initiative for beach side acftivities. the sea water sports offered , charges are too high....
