Karnataka food, sight-seeing and shopping options
All the shacks on the beaches (OM,Kudle,Half Moon and Paradise) have pretty good food. A lot of foreigners visit these places so the dishes are pretty much non-spicy but tasty. The beaches in itself are great places for sightseeing and photography. Specially the sunrise and sunset are worth waiting for. In Gokarna town there are temples which you could visit as well as check out the shops all around the town.
You can buy some nice t-shirts,bags,jewellery,trinkets,musical instruments,show pieces,etc....Most of these are handcrafted and sold by localities. Bargaining is a must!

Hotel Review of Namaste Cafe
Comments: The location of the cafe is the best part - overlooking OM beach. Thus, you can have your breakfast, lunch and dinner and simultaneously watching the sea and people around. The cool breeze, the sound of the sea, the lingo of the people around you and of course, the little shop selling beach wares and accessories makes it a perfect place to spend time. The only catch, small rooms.
Best Experience: The cafe lies just on the shore of OM beach. This takes away all the distractions that you may have while on a beach vacation. Just leave your room and hop on to OM Beach - jog, walk, just lay lazy, write, observer the sea and people, sit atop the rocks at the beach. Also, you can beach trek from beach to another.
Worst Experience: The room was really small and the bedsheet dirty. So, bring a bedsheet with you in case you want to sleep on a clean one.

Do Not eat the Chinese Food here , The continintal food is really good , the service is great , the people who manage this place are very polite , The shack like experience is amazing , I was there with my wife and daughter and we had a great time , and every moment has been cherished , If you are the type of person who likes to Rough it out , then this is the perfect place ....
