I had visited this hotel for official trip with group. I didn't face any problem to reach the hotel. The appearance of the hotel was good. There was no activity in this hotel. The food price was expensive. The pest control was not done proper in the room. I don't have any suggestion for this hotel.
There were activities conducted by this hotel. The pickup and drop facility was not provided in the hotel. All amenities were provided in the room. The check-in and check-out was no problem. The food was nice with quality and quantity. The destination of the hotel was good. The best part of the hotel was good.
The appearance of the hotel was good. The check in and checkout was done on time. The overall service was good. The Wi-Fi facility was not provided in the room. The room was spacious and clean. The food was good with south Indian dishes served. There were activities arranged by this hotel. I don’t have any suggestion for this hotel.
A very nice, traditional hotel calm oasis in mid bustling Bangalore .. With a gym, pool if exercise important and selection restaurants ... But watch out for the potentially falling coconuts room good, spacious, air conditioning etc .. But food was just OK ..

We went as office Team outing for a Day Trip. Amenities- The Swimming Pool is same as in images on them website. As big in size, as clean. They having two separate pools one for adult one more kids. You can play volleyball in swimming pool. They having Good Tennis court also. I played a lot there. They having Badminton court also. Did not get chance as we are so many. They having Cricket ground separate outside resort, can enjoy a lot on good grass ground. They having carom, pool, hand football, squash indoor games also. Services- They offered the best services to us. Food was superb. Only one time I took all varieties then also I have to take 5 times different plates. Dessert was yummy at lunch time. In morning they served south Indian breakfast idli sambhar, vada, Tea coffee, Boiled egg, some 3-4 more non veg varieties. As I am a vegan, I did not taste but colleague said it was nice. In evening Tea, Coffee & snacks is also nice. Advice to Travellers: Once you reach in morning, book for cricket ground otherwise you will not get it on weekends. Things we did Differently: In swimming pool, for volley ball water level is less. We took ball to other side & played. Enjoyed lot.
I visited Mussoorie to relax myself with my family, so I searched through internet for a good hotel and I found the Golden Palms and booked. I booked this hotel through MakeMyTrip but when I was on the way they called me and told me that they have wrongly taken my confirmation of room in this hotel, so they will not be able to give me booking on the same hotel. Although they gave me option to opt another hotel. MMT told me that I can stay in the Golden Palm for one day and for other days they will arrange in some other hotel. I was angry at that time and I reached hotel and told the same to hotel manager who was very supportive and saw I am with the family. Hotel manager assured me that you stay for one day and they will manage something for me even after the fault done by MMT. Next day hotel manager came and confirmed that I can stay in their hotel as I planned and they have managed the rooms availability. I was so happy to hear that and thanked all of them. Apart from all above the hotel ambiance was very good, specially their lawn and valley view. Food quality was also amazing and service was at first. So overall I was very happy. The only problem is that their parking area in under mall entry so little difficult but manageable.
Experience was very good. This was the second time I was visiting Golden Palms. Went there with family, my parents, brother's family and my family, three kids in tow. Getting to Golden Palms is easy, especially after the new elevated road on Bangalore Tumkur Road. Location wise nothing great to speak about. But the resort itself is very well done, though the age is now showing (for eg, though it is a 5 star, they still have CTVs in the rooms). The pool is huge and the kids will love it. The people managing the squash, tennis, billiards room etc. need to be a little more accommodative. For eg. when my wife requested whether they could give out the cycle at 6:30 AM rather than 7:00 Am (which is late for activities in a resort), the person behind the counter refused outright almost to the pint of being curt). The food in Cafe Soliare is really good. The buffets, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner are huge, very tasty and our family loved it. The staff are friendly and helpful and overall the highlight of our stay there.
Golden Palm Resort is next to Paradise. When you get fed up of the routine office and home life and are desperate for a change, it is the place for getting peace of mind. The luxury, greenery, entertainment facilities, hospitality of their staff are few to mention. The sports facility provided by them include carroms and swimming pool. I was there for a day to enjoy. When I first entered I was given mixed fruit juice to calm my system. Then I roamed around the greens to cool my mind. Then played badminton and carroms with my friends. There are games especially for kids. We had tea at 10 am with biscuits. Biscuits were great. Next I had a drink in the pub.The pub looks so great, with caricature and painting on the walls of Indian and western actors. I was spellbound. We went through a session of spa and health information. I had a body message for the first time in my life. The spa center is 3-storeyed and a beautiful place to experience. Then lunch time. The food was yummy and my mouth is still watering. Then I took rest near the swiming pool. In the evening after tea and buscuits, we went around the place in the small cab which goes around the resort. Next we played indoor games. The interiors are beautiful and the cost is affordable.
We were a company sponsored group fro a planning exercise offsite. The resort is definitely one of the best that could be arranged around Bangalore. The location is fairly close to Bangalore but still far enough from the maddening crowds of the city. The resort itself is nestled in greenery with coconut palms everywhere. The rooms are modern and contain all amenities and our rooms had a nice pool view. We stayed for 2 days and one night ( although a few people opted to stay a second night). The staff was consistently friendly and most important - unobtrusive. The massive pool is the one reason that would definitely pull me back to this resort. The resort also has a fabulous ( though quite expensive ) spa for those who are feeling burnt out. The resort has a Tennis and Squash court. Pool and Table Tennis are also options for those who want to burn some calories. For the die hard types, the Gym has more than you can handle although I missed out on the Gym because I had not brought sport shoes along. All in all a great resort. Family friendly and with enough to keep a range of people relaxed and entertained.
