Lake Pichola Hotel is the best lake attached heritage hotel in Udaipur. I with my family stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Neat and clean, rooms are cosy. I booked lake view room with balcony hanging on the lake itself. Morning is amazing. Taking morning tea, sitting in the balcony in the royal style is a life time experience. The tariff is affordable. The hotel has a roof top restaurant from where you can see the palace and the entire Pichola lake.

Food and service are up to the mark. I and my family enjoyed our stay in the hotel and like to visit again.

We travel by road Mumbai- Delhi and Udaipur is the mid point to relax. We always stay at this Hotel. Only for the manager rest all is just awesome at this place. The ambiance, the staff is super friendly, the roof top restaurant is soo soothing and relaxing. It's like a small paradise. Ask for the lake facing rooms. And ask for the staff named Devi Singh, he is very helpful and always smiling and ready to help. He will guide you where to go according to your time and budget.

A long winding lane off the city roads leads to the waterfront property. You may have to negotiate traffic. Fairly well appointed rooms in a 'heritage feel' architecture. The lake view rooms' balcony hangs over lake Pichola. Sheets and towels are perfectly laundered. The view from terrace restaurant is a feast for eyes along with your taste buds. The maintenance and some areas in housekeeping calls for improvement. Would suggest not to miss on a chat (if possible) with Mr Chandra Bhanu Singh, owner & MD of the property who is also a professionally trained hotelier and can give you all those information and suggestions which you will not have otherwise. View from the location is an A+ and may be that's the reason for google earth placing one of their cameras on the hotels high point.

We stayed recently at this hotel during our stay in Udaipur. The hotel had a swimming pool on the top and views from the hotel top are really good. The staff at front desk listens and try to accommodate the valid concerns. Traditional rooms and a small balcony with lake on front makes it a good choice.

I went there recently and as it was the off season so I could get a discount here. The hotel has great views. You could see the city palace along with the Gangaur Ghat and Taj lake palace. The most awesome views are of the night where you can see the Palace lit up. This hotel also has the rooftop restaurant 'upre restaurant' where you can enjoy the food and views both.

The other hotel offers such views and good ambience. The best thing I found about Lake Pichola Hotel is that you don't need to pay for booking the hotel beforehand. They give you their prices when you email them. I found this a better option as we were a only girls group travelling and had never been to Udaipur before and didn't want to risk paying for a hotel beforehand.

The staff of Lake Pichola Hotel was very cooperative and looked into all our needs. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. Most of the rooms have balconies to sit and enjoy the views of the lake.

I liked the location of the hotel as it has great night views of the palace and lake as well as all the important tourist points are at a walking distance. I can easily give a 5 star for the hotel.
